Right! Plus I have a soft spot for any costume serie. I just love the sceneries details of head accs and dresses, the wigs etr its all feels more novel than modern dramas. Its hard to find as much as costume series than modern dramas gotta check most of them *-*

Yeah her logic was hard to binge watch for me x'D But I usually pick up the dramas i dropped before and i end up enjoying them after some time in between. Im actually bitter because they dubbed Bai Lu's voice... Really not used to watch her with any other person's voice because I watch her behind the scenes videos of many series she acted in.My brain cant just accept her with different voice now x'D

The things i endure to watch more ZLS and costume settings :0... the way they execute this story with so many awful family members from both leads and side roles was just not worth the time and internet i wasted lol
BUT like i say im always in need of more costume dramas and welcome them especıally when they have my loved stars as leads... Now going to endure second season cause I dont have anything better to do this couple of days anyway

ps: gotta skip most horse scenes cause Cdrama producers' awful treatment on horses!

Love the way you used words and pretty understanding about this matter. I struggled/obsessed with my own weight ın my 20s so its sometimes hard for me to watch LYX or any other loved actors/actresses of mine in Modern Cdramas. Its a lot easier to accept and enjoy watching them perform once its costume series though *-* Like all these clothes and not much revealing on bones doesnt make me feel worried as much..Plus in costume series their acting always feels more heartfelt and dramatic which helps to focus..

Man they should have casted an older looking big build kind of actor for this lead role :c I have nothing against lead actor though...
I feel like i would have loved a lot more this couple if they did. Also I cnt even feel chemistry between them while i mostly ship ZLS with her prevıous partners ;A;

Felt so hopeful after watching trailer.Binged on fist 4 eps and so frustrated and disappointed in both leads' characteristics also writing with abrupt editing of back and forth in time! Gave up...

I hope they tone down both female and male lead. I cant imagine watching my bae Bai Lu & precious Yunxi acting as those characters I just canttt *shakes head nonstop
