When you have this kind of story you have got to have a believable chemistry between leads. Im not asking for specific chemistry... but the aura/vibe has to be there and there wasnt any in this one. felt a lot like korean manhwas made into web dramas.
Im just happy to clear it from my list ...

I hardly feel interested in modern dramas but always kinda hopeful for them.When I saw Heyu in this I know I could trust him with both acting and chemistry.This guy just needs some backing to get leads by now...
10eps were enough to drop it. Didnt liked writing, I couldnt feel any chemistry between any characters let alone the lead couple. I didnt even felt any interest in any characters it felt loose somehow..
Why on earth there is a constant blur on everywhere on screen! since its released in 22 likely filmed even earlier, looks like CEnts gaussian blur started like this and then end up only using it on their faces...

This was written and executed sincerely bad. I had lots of secondhand embarrassment in place of casting in most scenes.
It was so bad that the only thing I dont regret knowing is the opening song called:
朱兴东 - Same Moonlight 相同月光.
Normally I skip openings to skip spoilers nd save time but here I felt bad for skipping his song for half of drama and let it play. Its a lovely song..

Usually leads would tell stories to other lead about their past, what/how they went through so they have some skills or grow mature afterwards.
In this we actually went through these hardships together with leads how they were bullied by life but they adapt, dont feel desperate, grow up and progress together side by side. This is just like old time dramas very novel and rich in characters.

Really good for its kind of dramas but its just that I didnt had much time to watch a fight scene who can last 1 episode long... so I used lots of 2xspeed.

ps. IF ONLY Jeremy Tsui and Joe Chen takes another role in costumes as leads..
ps2. never be happy that a character u like didnt puke blood after a fight. IF this happens be sure that something bigger than a puking blood will come... I knew this beforehand but they still got me.

not really :) I really love searching for Cnovels and it became one of my hobbies in last years. Chrome is really fast with google translate and most of them are fine with machine translating.
After 3-5years some of them even got drama remake s and english translations..

Im rewatching Mr. Fighting right now and she literally looks like Li Qin's older sister there with her character /make up.

Same happened to me. I couldnt stomach female lead's writing. If I meet this kinda writing in male lead I can do a little better but when its on female leads its so hard... I still want to try watching later on though casting was really good with their characters.

I liked all of their acting. Filming sites and costumes, editing & directing was actually a lot better than most famous series...
BUT I couldnt feel much for lead pair or their 'love'. Instead secondary pairing caught my attention right from start, they had such small screen time but it was so bittersweet with right casting for those characters<33

Why you act like everyone has to feel or perceive something same as you? We can watch same thing but end up with different opinions.
If you didnt agree with another person no need to act so judgy and make personal comments. One doesnt have to watch with hate but still dislike what they have watched.
Please stop judging others with ur own worshiper attitudes. Even we like some actors actresses we might not like them in some dramas or their acting. There is nothing wrong with that.

even if he stops playing high schooners, playing a 'masculine and rougher character' doesnt really feel that serious IF he doesnt bulk up a little. BUT if that ' masculine and rougher character' means just not 'romance' but more like a thriller genre than I guess yeah he could be believable with his visuals..

I really didnt thought this would look so serious before seeing that trailer. I dont know what to wait anymore I thought it would another lighter toned romantic costume 0-0;
