I'm seeing this by comparing it to the book's script. In the book, Jinxiu came and went from heaven (while Hong Ning continued to have her relationships with other people). The drama improved this: Jinxiu is not a decorative figure who is the subject of conversation, and only appears to have a quick chat with Hong Ning and leave (and saves her when she needs it). JX is a character who is by Hong Ning's side in each of her lives (I much prefer this).
