My Little Apple Senior

I recently watched a drama, a fairly typical fantasy drama . The fight scenes and special effects were decent, but the plot leaned towards the typical leveling-up trope, with characters achieving enlightenment on the spot.
I increasingly felt that Nian Wushuang (A moment but forever) was an unexpected stroke of luck, a perfect storm of circumstances.
Dramas with many young actors are certainly not typical middle-aged historical romance dramas, but the acting is often stiff, formulaic, and the overall sense of conviction is weak
. It's not just a difference between one or two actors; it's the atmosphere of the entire drama. And then there's Liu Xueyi's Yuan Zhong—a profound character paired with superb acting, perhaps a rare find. Yuan Zhong is strong from beginning to end, but throughout the drama, he seeks within himself. His strength allows him to exist without external struggle; if he wanted to destroy the world, he could. Everything is his own affair; he accepted all the corruption, let go of his grudges, and once again stood on the throne of a god. It's
a story of proving one's path through tribulation, and also a delicate journey of the heart.
Nian Wushuang heals hearts because everyone has grievances, and the more awake one is, the more painful it becomes. It doesn't gloss over human nature or the world; it tells you that proving one's path through tribulation is truly difficult, but Yuan Zhong, protected by Ji Tanyin, achieved it.

Can anyone replace Liu Xueyi as Yuan Zhong? Can he make his good looks and humor complement each other? Can he harmonize warmth and sharp, penetrating intelligence? Can he logically portray both vulnerability and domineering arrogance? ...It seems very difficult. It's really rare for actors these days to be able to calmly study culture, ignore the noise and focus on honing their skills, and encourage themselves amidst constant repression and marginalization, remaining steadfast in their goals and moving forward!

In a distant land, there lives a handsome man, renowned throughout Chinese history, Pan Yue: his beauty was a burden. He unites with a beautiful woman, famous for her expertise in criminal investigation. In this world of immense police intrigue and supernatural events, Pan Yue will discover that his deceased wife is with him (but will these two recognize each other through so many memorable moments?). Love will blossom again.
In a cat-and-mouse game, this powerful minister, Shen Zai Ye (Liu Xue Yi), encounters a runaway princess (Meng Zi Yi). Together, they clash using wit and charm, joining forces to confront powerful enemies, both seeking justice for cruel acts previously committed against their respective families. Meanwhile, love blossoms, and neither will be merely a pawn in a Chinese chess game.
In this drama, Yang Mi manages to showcase her feminine power amidst palace conflicts, the conquest of love amidst seemingly insurmountable barriers, and thrilling adventures. She is a warrior in her armor, facing the world and searching for her destiny.
This drama is full of intrigue, palace intrigue, and a glimpse into the warrior general portrayed by Liu Xue Yi. His mysterious charm, conflicts, integrity, and transformation from a vengeful man to a man of ideals are evident in this story. His co-star is Wu Jin Yian, playing Mei Lin, a strong and passionate woman who provides an ideal counterpoint to Murong Jing He's (Liu Xue Yi) personality.
How does "The Princess Gambit" resemble "Fated Hearts"? Everything. An enemy couple, creating turbulent surprises for each other. A moment of laughter (but behind the scenes, the tricks). The charm of conquest and its use for personal gain. When does this turn into love? Only after an arrow is accepted to save the life of someone you'd rather see dead? In the beautiful faces and charm of the main couple, a game of life or death is being played out. And saying no cuts like a razor: "I don't allow you." But the most cutting and painful act is this separation, but amidst the turmoil, love will triumph.
Prince Murong Jing He and the heroine Meilin in "Kill Me Love Me" are also a destined couple, just like this drama, "Fated Hearts." From beginning to end, you'll understand that despite their differences and the political conflicts involved in this story—of corrupt and cruel powers who do anything for power—there's a love story unfolding. It's improbable, almost impossible, but one that will withstand all the hardships and difficulties of nature, family, social classes, and seemingly irreconcilable goals. Love blooms like a flower in the desert. If the hero ever cries in a grave, don't think love is impossible. It's not.
PS: Quite similar to this drama, isn't it?
