I agree. But Liu Xue Yi's (male lead) dramas never leave him out. Some even complain that he has too much presence in the drama (but no, it's an appropriate presence for both the male and female lead; both need to have equally strong presence, and that's how a great drama is made). Removing either of them only weakens the plot and its appeal.
