I’ve thought from the very beginning that he was likely the one who gave her relatives a proper burial. They were both just teenagers—though I think he was already in love with her back then. And perhaps that’s the reason he’s unable to form real romantic bonds with other women.

I watched all four episodes. The time just flew by. The pacing is excellent. I shed a lot of tears during the first few episodes. Now, it feels a bit like a suspense and investigation story. Lan Xian's journey continues, and the main couple hasn't met yet—though they are about to (I assume).
