Did I miss a scene or episode? How/why did the FL all of a sudden have to go marry the 2ML? There is no logic…
Ummmmm! I was in doubt about this, because in the book both of them need to be cured of the poison. (What happens in the book is that to cure Jing He it is necessary to sacrifice Mei Lin once again, who is in her blood). But apparently, in the drama, (as you just explained) all the healing involves the dragon seeds. (And he will still participate in a war using his armor. He needs to be cured).
I like her character in the drama. Hope there is more about her in the final eps...
I think she'll still appear, because there's a scene in the trailer where she's dressed in warrior armor on a stretcher (and she's very injured) and says: I, Luo Mei, have fulfilled my mission. (If I didn't miss any of the episodes and I'm not mistaken, this scene hasn't happened yet). And I remember the promise she made to her father when she was a teenager (that she wouldn't give up on being a general).
This plot will die quickly, because it's the style of these writers, not to stay too long on a plot. And the main…
Yes, the plot doesn't make it clear enough for us to understand some of the characters' thoughts. _____________________________________________________________________ (I was hoping after this mess we'll see her yet again show her love and save him/protect him etc and reciprocate what he's been giving for what will be 6 eps tomorrow but I'm not too sure that's happening.)β¬οΈ ________________________________________________________________ Ahhh, you said it all here. The best scenes in this drama are when they are in this exchange of love and loyalty between them. In which one sacrifices himself for the other, and they talk to each other confessing what they are feeling in their hearts. These scenes in the drama are precious. (I would like to see more scenes with this reciprocity between them).

Why is she wild? (I can only think of the behind-the-scenes scene where she takes Yue Qin hostage and then she jumps off the cliff and then Jing He jumps after her). I just can't fit these scenes into the plot. I don't know where they will fit into what's happening now.

It didn't ruin my experience with the drama. It helped me, because I need to clearly understand what's going on. (And there's something in the book about it, Mei Lin's blood being different. And I didn't remember). π
PS: ML is wearing the same dress in both scenes (with A Yi and in bed)
Ahhhh! I hope you're right!!!! (I think that for this drama, the only thing that makes sense is HE ending).πππΆβπ«οΈπΆβπ«οΈ Ps: I think that the first synopsis that was released (which said in the last sentence: "They can't love each other." This was just to please those who hate Jing He's character in the book. (And who in fact, would let the drama convince them that the best ending is He). Then (since they saw that the synopsis was creating problems for those who want the happy ending in the story), they changed the synopsis, and the emphasis at the end of the text no longer informs anything about whether their love is possible or not. (I think it was just to divert attention) to the possible ending of this drama: he, (which no one would expect, would admit, due to the male character being what he is (in the book).

I think this isn't clear to any of us. But, are we forgetting that he revealed that he was the master of shadows? (The dialogues in the drama didn't make this very clear). But everything must involve this, even though she said in the carriage to Yue Qin ("He did it just to save me").
Iβm in ep19 right now is it worth it to keep going? I canβt stand neither of the sp characters they are boring…
The episodes with the most conflict and decisive actions will be the next episodes, 27 to 32. The most famous scenes from the book are in these episodes. And the highlights of the trailers and clips from the OSTs that have not yet been seen in the episodes.

Mei Lin's reason: gratitude to Yue Qin. And another reason is that Jing He made an exchange for the antidote that cures Mei Lin. This dragon plant only exists in Yue Qin's country. Although at all times Yue Qin promised Jing He that he would allow Mei Lin's free choice. PS: And all the conflict that will happen in the next episodes, involves the fight for possession of the medicine that cures the action of the poison. PS: But I have a question? What about Jing He? Who was also poisoned by the same poison????
