Title Kill Me Love Me Spoiler
This is one of those moments where suspension of disbelief must be deployed. This is the same show that a general…
I see a happy ending in the positive development of the two main characters' personal development. Messages hidden in the plot, which if we pay attention, are telling us something positive in the end. They always say, "It can't kill me." There is a reference to the immortal flower in the story, a flower that never dies, which is Mei Lin's favorite flower, and which despite showing Jing He's admiration for her, also represents himself (the personality that does not accept defeat), in most difficult moments in life. They are two similar characters. Like sides of the same coin. PS: In addition to a hidden message on the board that Jing He's mother left for him before she died (giving a warning, explaining her love for him, that she trusted him, that everything they accused him of, she knew he was innocent) . She died but managed to leave this message for him. And it was Mei Lin who made this possible. (In addition to the 5 trailers), and the ost. Some can see a sad ending, but I see many messages in text drama showing otherwise.
PS:
Another element, lines from the trailer: "I pay back what I owe you. Everything I made you suffer, I will spend my whole life making it up to you. Mei Lin, I'm here with you."
And the main symbol is the immortal flower (which serves as an analogy for the two main characters).

i haven't started this drama but saw a video that was so hot. Is not romantic yet? that bathtub scene was fire…
This drama is romantic, you have to watch all the episodes to understand it. And the main symbol is the immortal flower (which serves as an analogy for the two main characters).

I think there are many indications in the 15 episodes, in the trailers and behind-the-scenes scenes (of a possible happy ending, or something that is a mix of happy and sad).

Can you share a bit what happened in the novel? Did he really rape her?
(No, another woman, Adai (in the book) who did not want to obey him, stay there as a servant, wanted to run away).

(Wait, what? You meant he handed her over to his soldiers to be raped?)

And a simple man and wife. Also, words from LXY saying "I am her man" sounds way more sexy than "she is my woman".…

But I only remember the movie "Alive", a true story in which the survivors had to eat the flesh of the dead to survive in an inhospitable place full of ice.
(However: in the book, Mei Lin finds many ways to survive, including eating snake meat).
(I think the scriptwriters preferred a fight for hunger and being completely without a way out to show their unity, alone and without anyone's help), even if some things don't make sense.

Yes! We, women, are tired of brute men incapable of delicate caress, of poetic gesture, of the ability to grow…

In the first third of the book, these violent scenes happen naturally (as if it were normal for a royal person to treat a female servant in that way). And she, with her intelligence and having lived through so many hardships in life (adapts to the moment), chooses what is least bad given the situation. (But at the same time, the female author of the book wanted to develop a redeemable anti-hero), who at the end of the book enjoys flowers with the woman he loves. And he chooses not to have any concubines and to marry Mei Lin as his legitimate wife.
But the female writer overemphasized the unacceptable attitudes of the male character. He sweats her physically every day. He thinks it is normal to hand over a woman who does not want to obey him to his soldiers for sexual satisfaction.((No, another woman, Adai (in the book) who did not want to obey him, stay there as a servant, wanted to run away).
However, the female writer chose as a means to redeem him, making him completely physically incapable, being diminished in his strength, having to be carried by Mei Lin throughout the book, and enduring other humiliating moments before her eyes.
(But even so, his intelligence and her intelligence work together to face many situations).

The barrier that gets in the way is always the original source, the book. But it seems that the public has already realized that both are very different.

So far really enjoying this. ML and FL had good chemistry and story progress. If there's one thing I do not like…
I don't find the character of the crown prince simple, the actor is so competent that he becomes complex.

Hmm I'm wondering why certain commenters get pissed when others respond to their comments in kind when they started…
I went to the person's profile and blocked them (so no more comments will appear for me).๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘Œ

I think the ending of the book will be maintained (perhaps with some bittersweet element), but with both of them…
Yes, it is refreshing air.
