In the book Luo Zi Shang is a confidant of Fan Xuan, the Emperor. He advised Fan Xuan, and Fan Xuan listened. (but at a certain point, Fan Xuan turns against Luo Zi Shang), but I don't know details as I only read excerpts selected by readers of the book.

I think showing a (seemingly bad) person to a person who feels compassion. And still taking into account what LZS suffered. If he came to understand what really happened and became a better person, it would undoubtedly be very interesting. (Even more so in the book his real name, it's like the kind and fair personality he's supposed to be.).
As for Zhou Ye becoming the emperor or rising to high ranks, I can understand, as he is the one who when he became brother-in-arms with GJS expressed his desire to help the people, to lift the common people out of their misery. At that moment GJS even said that "We are all human beings". It was at that moment that Zhoy Ye looked up at the moon as if he had a very high ideal and would like to fulfill it.
But the redemption storyline for LZS, that would be my favorite.🥀🥀🥀🎉🎉
