Zhang Shaogang(Wang Shanquan): "Liu Xueyi's delicate face". "Liu Xueyi's long eyelashes! Wow! "Liu Xueyi's eyelashes…
He has this peculiar facial feature (the long eyelashes), they are not extensions. There are videos of him (shown by fans) from adolescence, you can see his natural long eyelashes.
And to Liu Xue Yi's embarrassing situation in this transmission, Fan Yu added praise for Liu Xue Yi's arm line. (Fans commented that they found the only way to make Liu Xue Yi lost in dialogue (praise him). And this time he couldn't run away. Lol

The romance is the best part. Its a mistaken forced marriage, slow burn, honest communication, bickering friends…
That's right, the changes they made took the character to the beginning of the plot so that the weight he has in the story would have consistency. It wouldn't have felt the repercussions that this character brings to the story if he was only there in the last 10 episodes.

And speaking of the capitol arch. What happens there in this place that is so interesting?
If in the book she discovers what LZS feels for her only in the capitol arch, but in the drama she already knows that. So maybe the change the writers made is for her to find out who he really is (the boy from her childhood) in the capitol. Maybe it is that. (It is from there that she can no longer feel hatred towards him, but compassion.). It's little for what he would want, but it will be something that would honor their childhood friendship a little. As a child, she always asked, "What's your name?" He never revealed this. (I would like this moment in the drama to be filmed resonating with the past.). It would be beautiful, even if the feeling is not reciprocated.
Because that would support LZS's characterization, it's always the one that could have been. One step away from being that. And when she asks, what name will he say? Luo Zi Shang. The other name: Jiang Jire (which is actually the persona of what he should have been. Or, it's the other part of himself that hasn't been fully erased yet.).🌻

I think the director chose Liu Xue Yi for this role not just because he knew the actor and trusted his talent. But... because the character (despite being the villain), should convey a certain romantic naivety. (I think this romantic naivety of his, it's not just in the drama. I feel it from the book. This love on the one hand, I think is less obsessive and more gentle. That's what I mean. Revenge is for the family (which he judges being his enemies). But for her, it's sweet, that's what I see.).

I've read comments from Chinese fans who criticize the drama's scriptwriter for making Luo Zi Shang's character too flat. They criticized that comment that Luo Zi Shang made about Liu Yu Ru, stating that (β€œShe may not be the most beautiful of women, but for him there is no one more incomparable than Yu Ru”.). They find this comment inconsistent with LZS's personality in the book. In the book, according to them, LZS likes her, but he doesn't speak, he stays between the lines. However, I liked the way the scriptwriter of the drama did it. Because it's as if LZS had stopped in time, and in that detail, he's still the same boy from the past. πŸ˜‰

PS: One point in the book that I find interesting is that the moment after LZS saves Yu Ru, he says to himself or went to her that he is even with his debt for her. (It's like he can't go on completely without repaying that debt to her.) And so, he feels freed to go ahead with his revenge plan.

Thanks for your clarification. But... I wish all these scenes were kept (even if the sentiment is one-sided). I would like it to be like the love triangles of other dramas (which leave a flavor of what could have been), while not standing in the way of the main couple's loyal love.
PS:
And thank you for showing me exactly where each of these famous scenes from the book would be in the drama.🌼

In the book there are 3 scenes of Yu Ru with Luo Zi Shang that I wish they would keep in the drama.
1-Umbrella scene;
2-Luo Zi Shang saves Yu Ru's life;
3-Luo Zi Shang and Gu Jiu Si on behalf of a situation (I don't remember which one. I think it's about the "yellow river");
4-Gu Jiu Si will have to make a deal directly with Luo Zi Shang (in one situation. I don't remember which one).
PS: I haven't read the novel, just snippets cut by fans of the book.
PS: In the drama, the second time Yu Ru met Luo Zi Shang, she told him, "Don't get into trouble." "We will cooperate with each other in the future."
When Luo Zi Shang was at the riverbank, watching Yu Ru in the distance, leaving in the boat, Luo Zi Shang spoke in his mind: "Thank you, Yu Ru, for helping me. Coming here. I saw you."

In a way, indeed, there is a love triangle.When you get to episode 13, in Luo Zi Shang's story, you'll understand…
She asked her mother if the Luo had any children close to her age. (I think she didn't understand that and it's him, because she doesn't want to understand. She doesn't want to admit it).
I remember that in the conversation she had with Luo Zi Shang, she gave advice to him not to get into trouble (that sentence sounded like someone is close to another.). Maybe she admits the possibility, but doesn't want to believe it.

Now I remembered Luo Zi Shang dressed in a red official outfit, and that black hat and talking to his real father also dressed in a red official outfit. I know it's the actor who will play his real father.

That is true. LZS can will even be able to interact with his real dad, but without knowing this fact. In the book, the encounter as father and son, recognition is at the end. Let's proceed through the episodes. But I also want to see the encounter between the cousins (GJS and LZS).
And I also want to know when Yu Ru will remember that LZS is that boy from the her past.

Father and son ? LZS and his father? My other question is: will Luo Zi Shang recognize his father when he meets him?

On the live broadcast of "Destined", Liu Xue Yi was all embarrassed when Wang Shanquan (the character's actor)…
Zhang Shaogang(Wang Shanquan): "Liu Xueyi's delicate face". "Liu Xueyi's long eyelashes! Wow! "Liu Xueyi's eyelashes are like dolls." "I'm looking!"
Zhang Rui: When I was filming with Xueyi, he blinked, and I felt a gust of wind blowing
Liu Xueyi: Ahh
(Speaking of the evils in the drama:)
Liu Xueyi: Wang Shanquan got out of line too soon, and now they all scold me
Teacher Zhang Shaogang: Yes, it's your turn

I would like to know which character is in the first frame of the video. I can't identify.
It's like the presenter, the conductor of the interview. (My memory isn't too bad. I knew he wasn't from the drama.).

Yes, we have to wait. But it is close to showing crucial scenes of Luo Zi Shang (taken from the book) in the drama. And maybe we won't see a meeting between the two rivals (GJS and LZS). And may Yu Ru remember the boy from his past (LZS).
Ashes of love (It's true.)

1-those fools were pathetically hilarious though. One moment they're like, "the sky is falling, woe on you, children…
I completely agree with you. And it's not selfish, he and we deserve more screen time of him. And his micro-expressions...(Hopefully I hope the main protagonist dramas he filmed and is filming will be broadcast soon.). It's such a waste of time.

I think Luo Zi Shang is dragged into the last quarter of the drama (as it is one of the main arcs of this story), although the character of LXY does not appear much, but he is very prominent in the book. So they probably put his development in for this key part of the drama. Since other characters have already had their story launched like Zhou Ye and his father, and the girl he likes (the plot has developed). And as for Luo Zi Shang, everything related to him will have more repercussions now. I think. since Jiang He just appeared in episode 28.
PS: Liu Xue Yi shines in all of his characters, few or many scenes. It shines.
PS: I think the three-dimensionality of LZS will be shown now, because with so few scenes it can't be shown yet
