From what I gathered from ep. 2 is that the guy who lives with Sei is his boyfriend but they don't have sex because his boyfriend doesn't like it. For a 7 ep. drama, it's quite slow in the department of said "cheating", imo.

Before I say what I'm about to say next: cheating isn't okay at all, regardless of gender.
I'm getting a feeling that Hagiwara's GF is cheating, which doesn't make it okay for HIM to cheat, mind you, which certain people tend to do 'revenge cheating' for getting cheated on.

The story, so far, is being told in a way to show how certain people deal with things in these kinds of situations. The wrong way. However, I do have to agree with you that the acting is so far good, even after one episode.
