Adaptations: Thinking that it should go by the books is silly, imo. Pun definitely intended.

Oh no, I'm not. I'm American. The only reason that I tend to apologize is because of what happened to me when I was 11. So.. I'm sure you can think of what I mean without me saying it so bluntly, but if not, it involves SA.

I 100% agree with you. The manga and drama (or movie is adapted) doesn't need to be the same all of the time. It can't be helped when I, someone who hasn't read the damn manga, doesn't know the full backstory of the, well, story.
