I don't prefer FLs to always be bold and confident, but she rubs me the wrong way. Like she just acts obsessed to a creepy level all the time. And spaced out. I can't tell if it's mostly her acting or the direction, or both. Her life and thoughts are only of Zan. We get it, her feelings for him are really really strong but can her life, mood and entire being not revolve around this man.

I watched this several times years ago and think it was on YouTube, but now I can't find one with decent quality with English subs that are in sync. Anyone know the best place to watch?

I’m having trouble getting into it too, so glad I’m not the only one. The campy humor is getting overdone and tiring and I’m only on episode 3. I’m bored. People said it would get better after episode 2 but so far that’s not my experience.

Acting was actually not that bad. You're right it's the production quality that just made everything seem else seem low quality along with it.

I can't decide how I feel about it. I like the leads and they're cute together. But a lot of the dialogue is soooo beyond cringey, and for some reason the whole thing has this childish cheesy vibe like it's made for kids.

He is a good actor, and his frequent smiling is exactly as his character’s behavior is described in the novel. You sound foolish.

This is just a promo image you can't trust it, at times they will have actors even stand on props to make them taller than the FL in a certain scene.

I completely agree. The English speaking is some of the worst I've heard in a drama, and the writing can be really cringy. I like the actors too though so I'm watching for them, and their characters are cute together.

Couldn’t agree more, like they basically fell in insta-love half way through episode 1. Especially FL, she was obsessed in an instant. Then I thought (hoped) they’d draw out her searching for ML and discovering his identity behind the mask at least a little bit to build some tension there…no, she runs into him after just a couple minutes. On and on. It gives me the impression of this drama being carelessly slapped together.

You should really give hidden love at least until episode 7-8, once the FL matures and goes to college. The story really picks up.

He was amazing in Hidden Love. I agree with OP about him otherwise needing to choose quality scripts though.
