because he has the drama logic - stepbrother, older brother, true heir to business but step mom is bringing in her son, more keen on dad's business than younger brother is, got handed the dirty business but he is going to make it work so that he can gain dad's confidence.... and shady business means shady... younger brother seems morally better..

it is drama logic.. no one has more motivations to be the villain than bas in this series

So, went back to listen to what 3rd patient said -

Opening scene, bible is the patient. Given, what last female patient told Job, we are basically watching Great's past life.. we are in his thoughts.. so time flow is not normal..

1. 4 minutes into the future is his unaltered past
2. He is trying to change events - guilt or whatever
3. Everything we see is what hs already happened and WHAT bible knows. E.g. when jess became his boyfriend he would have told him that woman confessed to him that she jumped in front of his car...and that information is playing out for us in the episode.. but in reality she died and hence Bible had her death dream twice.. even when she apparently was not dead in the accident

4. we started the show at this event because going back to what another female patient said... jess is the most important aspect of great's life.. this accident led him to meet jess for the first time.. that's why we are starting there

5. Time flow is not normal. SO, everytime doctor gives a shock, in thoughts world bible feels the shock

6. trailer and ost lyrics - it is not real.. so now we know nothing is real.. all of this is in bible's mind

7. Jess might have befriended Great to investigate his girlfriend's death so some bit of betrayal baked in and ofcourse bas is going to be evil evil bad guy :D

where r u watching it

in case of nations or macro groupings, you can classify based on predominant behavior.. so she ain't wrong.. Koreans are actually very very racist.. they put up blanket hoardings that xyz nationalities not allowed in this restaurant or bars or whatever.. you gotta call spade a spade

For all those who have a problem, or think can have a problem or in general have a problem with a character playing an NC scene can go

1. buy common sense

2. if that doesn't work, buy brain

3. if that doesn't work, find a respectable elder in family and talk common sense...

ok.. so plot wise i think .. initial guess... big brother wants the business and wants to eliminate his competitor aka great.. so he killed great and potentially his boyfriend jess in past timeline (opening scene where bible dies on hospital bed and jess dies being shot)

i would rather say parallel universe instead of past lives...

Now, great has a chance to alter reality in his current universe based on premonitions

Bas killed Jess in first scene because he is responsible for bible's death in opening scene... that would be wild

If something did not meet your quality standards, you are entitled to your opinion. Bottom line remains the same... if a drama is not well made, there is no reason to support it and set wrong standards
