If 3rd person is from the same side then someone from the empress family (the emperor himself is also involved as he covets Dox kingdom's secret weapon but he is too high ranking to wear a fish bracelet with his minons)

OR if 3rd person is from the other power side then it is the exiled Prince/his top aid who aims to topple government.

DISGUISE IS THE THEME
Women can change voice, so i assume men can change voice too.
Reference made to sage / master of disguises
From early on, multiple references to disguises - master with his makeup
Skinning - again a disguise
Face contouring
Masked man/woman/master

DISGUISE is AT PLAY. There is SOMEONE who is faking a face, faking a voice, and faking an identity


C) Who is liu and his master. Why is there story important?

D) Reason masked man can't be younger - ML's 2 new masters showed deference and respect towards masked man. Masked man commissioned them to train ML for the specific revenge he sought. For the political astuteness shown, masked man has to come with that experience

So, NO... it is not a young person. Likely an old man


E) Question is... what is masked man's objective. He is using ML to get to the hidden seal by also giving ML the avenue to take his revenge, thereby gaining trust... OR.. this person genuinely thinks that emperor is insane and he as a good citizen wants to protect the world


So, to conclude -

Masked Man has to be some advisor very close to the emperor !!! And either he is Emperor's right hand or Emperor's #1 enemey

Can the masked man be one of the 2 sages ML talks about in turtle tomb cave? There is a clear power struggle going on.. that Marquee must be reporting to someone higher up - maybe emperor/eunuch (the ultimate bad guy)

But that tomb they went to and talked about 2 folks - turtle tomb guy (liu sthg) and his master (the balanced sage).
Sage was master of appearances... masked guy looks old and is revered by ML's masters who took care of him

So, i am going to guess.. it is liu .. maybe stories about him being the bad guy are wrong/false/intentionally fabricated... and liu is master of disguise as his own master was

AND he is currently in the House of Marquee Q under some disguise... maybe even a woman.. lol

This skinning is interesting... meaning someone may be wearing a skin of a person who is actually dead (why do i think emperor is not alive)

but grandpa is so obvious so i think he is a red herring.. plus he protected the child

and i guess, in ep 1 they were trying to steal the emperor's seal.. whoever has it controls the court.. so likely that emperor's eunuch might be the main villain or some king's woman

and when dad sent wife and son to wake everyone up, he def. hid the seal in the tunnels

i am guessing, that Khanin's dad and someone in snake family, likely current king, were in love.. or khanin's dad was in some LGBT love

then grandpa got khanin's mom killed (or could be mom liked someone else but was betrothed to khanin's dad)

cool... i hope they maintain quality of the script.. and level up.. this has such good potential
