i finished watching genie today AND

ML in this show has sthg very strikingly similar to Kim Woo Bin.. maybe the smile..

i didn't feel this way in his last drama where he was the monkey or whatever... killing mythical beasts..

but kim woo bin similarity is so so so striking now

I REALLY want drama to say that the two boy babies who died /killed are ake and thong


i mean in drama world, those are the best signs.

2 boys. Close in age. Killed around same time. 2 young boy spirits - best of the friends.. NOPE.. Close like twin brothers... protecting their sister die... to reincarnate and be adopted by the said sister and be taken care of as her own sons

Because she was happily waiting for them all those years ago as well. But unfortunately, both her brothers were taken away...

It might actually be that Khem is the only one who can help Rampheung find closure.

She did love the little girl... and is a mother at the end of the day. I think she felt betrayed by the girl the most... but under all that anger, khem is still the one person whose innocence Rampheung will be willing to see as soon as somehow she calms down

Cool.. this makes sense .. because per my theological understanding, reincarnation would be more painful in this case because u go through severe pain again and again vs being trapped in hell

(status quo is less painful than the human cycle... hence the reason why curses n boons r driven by human life karma)

2. Even if they don't reincarnate then that just proves my point. Their punishment is useless and Rampheung's major beef is with Khem who is trapped in the vicious pain cycle.. literally the only one for whom Rampheung stays in the world.. literally the only one on whom she can extract revenge

So yeah.. you are still not answering my original question.. and if you don't have answer then that's fine.. you can't be a know it all all the time

Ep11 is SOOO SOO GOOD

If you enjoy goblin like drama, u r bound to have fun with this

And show reminds us again why Kim Woo Bin hit it after just 1 or 2 appearances

His screen presence is so good... and just such a good actor

no it was not show. What you are talking about is the 1st birth itself. We never saw them the 2nd time. i think we saw Khem's mom

Maybe the point is... lying witnesses are WORSE than actual perpetrators

Anyhow, i don't think 1st wife was shown again or will come up. Ram's max wrath is towards the little girl who lied and changed the whole situation

it is obvious KES was trying to create bromance from goblin..

but second lead actor is Extremely weak.. weak in terms of pulling off this role, he is simply not a right casting (he can act sure... but he is not right for this role.. he can't pull off the comedy or create an equation with kim woo bin)

So here's a thing, if u enjoy KES's show and her brand of humour.. u r going to have fun with this show

She has anyways been wanting to work with kim woo bin since so long..

comedy works just the way it works in her other shows.

i wasn't really looking forward to this show or anything.. and suzy, while she is improving drama upon drama isn't exactly a talented actress

But, have to say this... i started watching this show because saw people claiming it is being review bombed.... i am on ep 5 now, binge watching..

It is a rom com, more on comedy side... don't expect Goblin kind of entertainment.. but it is most definitely not boring..

Anyone who could sit through king the land, can pretty much sit through any show. And for those who prefer quality projects then this is definitely better than that motel comedy series that came out yrs ago (think had s2 too waikiki or sthg)


IN summary, not a bad show and not a great show. But, good for 1 time watch. Woo bin works. Suzy works. Chemistry is not the same as it was in Uncontrollably Fond ... but again, it isn't bad

If u r looking for a light watch then this is a decent option

i doubt any of those folks are coming back... only khem seems to be going through this birth upon birth..

i am excited, i hope they show that others also went through pain in every birth
