Overall plan of Thara is to drink the blood herself when Tong turns 21.
Ofcourse, Mark will save the day. Mark almost dies at hands of Thara and Nakan but Tong forces him to drink his blood... but then Tong "dies" ... Mark is all powerful now and kills both nakan and thara...
but as luck would have it... while dying Tong bit into Mark and drank Mark's blood, which had golden blood mixed .. so Tong turns vampire and happily ever after
Mark becomes the head of the vampires, just as Thara had visualized when she had gone to turn human mark into vampire
