At the end of episode 8 I couldn't read Park Jin, is he friend or new enemy. His resolve to be the "objective" head of Songrim, and not let his emotions guide him is a pretty ruthless stance, so is his offer to Jang Uk genuine or a means to monitor him? Does he still see Uk as someone he cares for like an honorary uncle or does he see him as a destabilizing force that needs to be neutralized for the good of Songrim since I'm assuming he now see's his old friend's use of the alchemy of souls as a betrayal to Songrim.

Chill ppl, MDL's overall rating is probably still calibrating, it gets wonky sometimes but after a few hours/days it usually adjust.

If you hover over it you will see that both the CW and Verified ratings are well above the ratings being currently reflected, in addition under the stats the average rating by the different ages are also well above the reflected rate.

Love the review, it will help me better appreciate the drama when I watch it and also manage my expectations too. 💯

#Mini-Rant cause I'm feeling disappointed, pls keep scrolling, need to vent.
I guess it's my fault for getting my hopes up. As usual writer Nim starts of with a great premise, good build up and then it goes to hell in a handbasket. FL came across as empathetic, reflective and logical in the first 6 episodes, and in the last two became indecisive, cowardly and illogical. Th ex has way too much screen time. It also appears that the writer forgot she's not writing a 16 episode series but a 12 episode one, we're 3 quarters into the series and still zero payoffs. I fear this is another one with a rushed ending that will leave me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. 😞

Will watch this for the cells. While their pairing is really cute, I can't connect with a couple I know is not end game. Knowing they're not the OTP makes it impossible to get excited over them 🤷

Anyone who has read the web novel can share if the burglar is an important plot point? Or was it just a minor plot point to facilitate oppa to the rescue moment?
Asking because it seems weird nothing was taken and he seemed more intent on her than on escaping.

It's so frustrating to see that they had such an interesting story, characters and the writer just squandered it away 😭
I'm still holding out hope that they can tie up the loose ends, but it's going to be so rushed.
I'm kinda mad, but more confused how they let it get to this ...

Loved every episode since ep10, but I'm very skeptical that they can wrap up everything and do justice to all the characters esp Ryun and Joong Gil in just one more episode. Which is making me even more annoyed at the ridiculous dog episode, what a wasted episode when it could have been used to explore our leads story's in more depth.

Ryun if I recall correctly mentioned she wants to protect "him", I believe it's referring to Joong Gil too. But not sure how she can, like maybe there is a way to be redeemed so that you are allowed to no longer be a reaper and can get reincarnated instead.
