Finale: A lot of clunky writing and direction kept this from being an exceptional BL.
Why do two Yakuza dudes, presumably rolling in cash, keep having sex in a compact, four-door sedan, then sleeping upright in the bucket seats, stinking of sex and sweat? Can they not afford even a cheap hotel? How does Odajima give head to Fourth Generation without, you know...moving his head? The other sex blocking was bad, too. If you're going to include sex scenes, don't insult the audience with lame/distracting/silly stuff like motionless blow jobs. The whole "wifey" thing is annoying. I could list a lot of other stupid choices made by the director, but whatever. Yakuza is the new High School of BL World.
On the plus side: Both leads are good actors, but the material and the director did them both dirty. The final gun scene in the car was powerful. Wada Masanari would be excellent as a vampire. The MCs' tattoos were cool. Yuya Shintaro was good as the evil "Fourth Generation." The plot would have been much more interesting with some conflicted/twisted, love/hate vibes between him and Odajima, on top of the worst blow jobs in history.
Mildly recommended, if you're running low on BLs to watch. 7/10
ok hold up u can trash talk this but dont bring thailand into this
Is this reply meant for me?
I did not say "BL/gay media" is a sewer. I very specifically referred to there being a "BL sewer," and that Thailand and Korea are "floating" there. I didn't mention other "gay" media" at all.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...?The "NC," otherwise known as sex scenes, are the only conceivable reason to watch…
No, I'll respond when and where I choose, even in what you fantasize is "your space." lol There is no space that is not everyone's space in a comment thread. Is that news to you?
what the actual fuck is wrong with you? do you even hear yourself? implying that women who report sexual assault…
I saw your latest, long, blue block of text, read the first few sentences of yet another near-endless rationalization about how such a miniscule punishment totally IS an indication of how seriously the judge took this case, how the charge was minor even though it was major, blah blah blah, rolled my eyes, and scrolled here to the bottom.
Oh, I did see the first sentence of the paragraph in which you rant about the "tell" of my observation that you will never be "groped." lol That insult was planted deliberately, as I knew exactly how you'd react. You took the bait, child, and are probably still ferociously shaking it back and forth in your fangs, while garbling every cliche response imaginable. hahaha Thanks for the entertainment.
OK, well, I'm bored with you. You're too predictable to be interesting.
Did you know KK has been offered an acting project? lol That gives me great pleasure. Don't believe me? Spoon-feed yourself your own research, you deeply educated, but lazy scholar you. :)
As to that last point...educated, serious people don't blab reams of alleged facts without providing links. When you wrote the dissertation for your most recent doctoral degree, did you tell your professors to do their own fucking research if they had questions? lol
If you choose to reply, it won't be read. You're a joke, like KK's "scandal." Have a wonderful, grope-less life, my friend.
One of my quiet, simple, fave BLs. Kura Yuki and Mizusawa Rintaro are sensational in their roles. I wish the story had more meat on it, though. And I wish sexual energy had not been erased from the universe in which this story takes place. That it was makes the story a chaste but charming fantasy.
Nonetheless, this was my fourth watch in six years, and it gets better every time.
watching this was wondering where i recognized the actor playing Sakura, then the penny dropped, he's the main…
Agreed! You should check out "His: What is Love?"
Kura Yuki is one of my fave BL actors. Haven't seen him in much else. I hope he does more. A sequel to this, in which the writers get a bit braver with the romance, would be nice.

It's a 10/10 from me. :)
I wish I'd had a Sensei like that to give me "career counseling."
I would have been back for refresher courses twice a week.
Since all the prudes and PC police have made this one hard to find online, check out the link behind the spoiler button below.
"your business..." lol
