ALCOHOL is a drug. Are you aware of this? Korea has the highest rate of alcoholism in among first-world nations. Thousands puke Soju in the streets of Seoul every night. Billions of $$$ in productivity and health expenses are lost annually. Korea has the highest rate of suicide by far, among developed nations.

But while ignoring those issues, you're promoting the idea that smoking weed is a dreadful crime. Korea would be much better off if lots of people stopped drinking so much and smoked up instead. Booze is MUCH harder on the body and brain than weed and other light drugs. Grow up.

Cultures grow and evolve. Korea needs to get with it on this issue.

Korea is fucking INSANE about this kind of thing. They lose their shit over mild stuff like weed; meanwhile, thousands are vomiting up Soju in the alleyways of Seoul every night. Korea has the highest rate of alcoholism and suicide in the OECD, but yeah. pot is the problem. More pot smoking would help with both of those problems.

Korea is also bizarre about how it deals with this very incident, especially as the smoking took place years ago. (I'd guess TOP smoked up last night but no one knows. :P) Why not just ignore it and proceed with publicity as planned, TOP included? This Puritanical streak is all the more bizarre because right up against it you have all these kpop girl groups gyrating on stage in highly provocative prostitute-style outfits, executing highly sexual choreography. The movies are filled with the hottest, nakedest sex scenes I've seen from any country. Yet let someone gets caught "dating" or smoking a joint and the media comes unglued.
