Just finished a second watch and will stick with my 9/10 rating from the first time around. There were a few details I didn't grasp the first time so as with all good films, the second watch left me with a better appreciation of the film. It's a shame this film is, as is the case with a great many shows here, so unseen and therefore underappreciated on MDL. The 7.1 rating is absurdly low.
Gosh, Mesim, I had NOOOOO idea that "Barcode" is a stage name. I thought his parents came up with that at birth. lol Did you know lots of American actors have stage names too? No, it's true! I swear! I am not confused about stage names, but thanks.
My comment was meant to express puzzlement at why someone would name themselves after the printed price code on an item of merchandise. Seems odd and more than a bit clunky to me. As I wrote above, what's next? "PriceTag?"
Heads up: LOTS of Thai actors are keeping/have kept their given Thai names. Perhaps international fans aren't as clueless as you imply.
"Bible" is another dorky choice. Maybe the actor hopes to gain entrance to Heaven via his name, who knows? Other amusing choices are Boat, Eiffel, Fourwheels, and Offroad. lol
I can see that you are a Dane. I understand your jealousy of Americans, your dour nature and lack of a sense of humor. It's cold up there. Perhaps much of your brain is Frozen..."Mesim."
The government and its interests are more important than one person killing themselves. Do you not understand…
You are a monstrous, degenerate a**hole, devoid of human qualities like empathy, compassion, and a sense of proportion.
"Humans are nothing and are worth nothing. " If this is true, then why do you care for the health of society as a whole? After all, society is made up of and functions for the management and hopefully, betterment of...wait for it...HUMANS.
I'm guessing you fancy yourself a dispassionate nihilist and your comment is performative, a sort of masturbatory declaration of clear-headed, philosophical sophistication.
You're missing something though: Your statement above means that YOU are "nothing and worth nothing." You also declared that suicide is of no consequence to anyone or anything other than the victim. I have NEVER even come close to saying this to someone on the Internet or anywhere else, but I'll make an exception for you. By your own logic, and as a worthless waste of space and oxygen whose death would have zero impact on anyone other than yourself, why don't you, you know, check out? The sooner the better?
Licentiousness? What about sanctimony, hysteria, pearl clutching and acting a poster child Karen?
This one is extra-hysterical and full of shit, though, so let's not hesitate to play with it. I've been asking it to identify this town of iniquity where booze, shrooms, pot, and heroin flow in the streets, but it hasn't revealed the location yet. :)
A) your neighbors don't harm you with their use of pot, so it's not your businessB) your assertion that there's…
You might be the most full of shit commenter on this entire site. I'll be looking for the links to statistical data supporting all this BS you're spouting.
lol Well, aren't you the self-righteous, panty-sniffing Church Lady? lol "General lack of moral restraint..." Whose restraints? Whose bounds? Why, YOURS of course!
I suspect you are full of s**t. What state is this that has legalized "mushrooms and other 'harder' drugs?" Please be specific. What city?
Naturally, the fact that your neighbors, who you probably watch with binoculars from behind your curtains while you touch yourself, allegedly smoke dope "ten times a day" (good for them!) means that the entire country is doing likewise.
Could you please provide some links to this statistical data showing that your "small city" has rapidly increasing rates of "traffic accidents, domestic violence, and homelessness," all of which are due to the fact that mushrooms and hard drugs are "legal" there?
We both know you're lying of course. If pot, shrooms, and hard drugs were legal in your "small city," the population would be exploding as party people move there from all over the US. Is that the case? At least property values must be skyrocketing, right?
I look forward to perusing the detailed information at the links you provide in your response. Thanks!
Oh my goodness. I feel I've seen something truly remarkable, but that I will need to see it two or three more times to glean most of what's going on here. I've just bathed in something so rich, that felt so good, and yet I'm not sure what it is yet. :)
That's not a bad thing or a negative criticism at all. It's just that there seems to be so much happening, so much depth, so many layers, that one watch can't possibly do it justice. I like watching fascinating movies multiple times, so this is fine by me.
Meanwhile, this is a 9/10 and highly recommended. I've a feeling a couple more watches will raise my score even higher.
I was confused watching it the first time so let me help you a tiny bit. Its a story about 2 step brothers(although…
You explained well. I've seen this twice but you helped me clarify things. However, to me the plot is constructed and the story told in an annoying and deliberately confusing way.
It's a shame this film is, as is the case with a great many shows here, so unseen and therefore underappreciated on MDL.

"Not everyone is out to get you." Yet another insult. You seem to be the passive-aggressive type.
Finally, people on MDL are frequently dragging the USA and Americans, so it's not a stretch to take your comment as such. Whatever. Leave me alone.
"I can see, that you are an American... I understand your confusion... " Why the insult?
As you well know, the question "Is there a Thai actor named 'PriceTag?'" was pure snark. Don't play dumb with me.
