I think they only payed a part of the "fees". 65k for all cast members sounds a measly sum for a month of filming…
"appearance fees" sounds like publicity/marketing/fan appearances to promote the film, not the salary they were paid to make the film itself. This MDL writer lo_ve is the worst. Her English is spotty, so most of her articles make no sense.
Haven't watched it but just saw a clip on Youtube literally came here to comment the same thing and she does it…
hahaha...people all over the world cheat and even more people love to watch dramas and movies about cheating. "Shameless..." is an easy sign of where you come from on this: sex=shame. Screw that.
First half was intriguing, second half was boring. The FL, as an actor AND a character is annoying af. I felt absolutely nothing for her. She could have been murdered on screen and I wouldn't care. Kora Kengo is the best part of this flick but there's not enough of him to save it.
All I really want to know is if the tongue thing is for real in both cases. I don't think CGI was advanced enough 16 years ago for those to be fake. But especially in KK's case, that could never go back to normal and yet it looked 100% real. When he did the cigarette thing early in the flick I was both fascinated and repulsed.
I think the formula is for every twelve abysmal series, we'll get one solid good one. I don't think we've hit…
I just read the synopsis of My Stand-In. While normally I can't bear amateur, silly time-travel and, body swapping, and supernatural silliness in BLs, I will give this one a shot on your recommendation. I can always drop it if I find it stupid.
Thailand doesn't have to concern itself with producing quality work. Their BL industry churns out complete shlock…
Thanks for the well-written and interesting reply. Most MDLers consider it outrageous to expect them to read anything beyond three sentences.
OK, sometime I will try MoD again. I've become so annoyed with bad Thai BLs that the sound of the Thai language annoys me. :D Also, way too many bitchy, stereotypical, squealing trans women in them. Most of them behave in a manner that is more an exaggerated parody of female behavior, like an American drag queen. And they're usually mean.

lol, the only show I liked from your list was ATOTS. And even that was full of amateurish moments when I had to look away from the screen. :) I thought the acting of the shorter co-lead was quite awful at times. I remember a crying scene in which his fake crying was embarrassingly bad. The kind where there is extreme anguish and pain, the face is all scrunched up, and there are no tears.
I agree with you completely about the Little Girls on MDL who will squeal and moan over complete trash because it is "cute" and worst of all, "fluffy." Apparently, they don't notice all the bad acting and pacing, hallmarks of Thai BLs, all to be blamed on the director.
In MoD I felt the subject matter was beyond the ability of the writers, director, and actors. Again, it felt amateurish and a little silly, as though I was watching a college-level thesis piece. I wanted to like it because I like both of the actors from Together With Me, especially the dark-haired one. I think he's actually talented. Instead, I felt I was wasting my time and dropped it after two episodes.
Meanwhile, you can catch the first four here: https://kisskh.co/Drama/Zettai-BL-ni-Naru-Sekai-VS-Zettai-BL-ni-Naritakunai-Otoko---A-Man-Who-Defies-the-World-of-BL?id=3808&q=true
