" ...ace and aro spec people are THE BEST counselors when it comes to this stuff even though they usually don't…
ummm...no. People who are incapable of floating should not be teaching others how to swim. Since 99% of humans are NOT asexual or aromantic, why wouldn't a normie seek advice from one of them? Having experienced what the advice-seeker is experiencing automatically bestows on the advice-giver a level of empathy and understanding an aspec person simply cannot possess.
I don't drink wine. That's why I don't give lectures at wine-tasting events.
The ace doctor here is one more example of the heavy-handed preachiness and Internet trend-surfing in which Thai and Pinoy BLs excel.
Wow. So many offensive statements in one post. How is that even possible? This is the comment area, btw. This…
Why would I concern myself with what "offends" people who like shows like this? I watched, I commented, I rated.
Oh, and can you direct me to the MDL rule page where it notes that one is not allowed to include their rating in their comment? Thanks, I'll wait for you to do that. If I rated it 9.5/10 you wouldn't care in the least that I included the rating in my comment. Lame.
Have you even watched it lol they’ve literally been screwing like bunnies and they’re building up to a really…
Screwing like bunnies without showing even a little kiss is a bit odd, don't you think? Even in the first screwing scene, when the dude did the countdown from 5-to-1, they were supposedly hot and heavy to fuck, but whenever their mouths got close, they turned away or stopped at the last second. Normal people don't act like that. If you're about to let someone put their willy in your butt, you're not going to be concerned that kissing is somehow "too much." lol
It's stupid and distracting, and if you don't think so then this show is custom-made for YOU. Watch it. Love it. Then go watch the other 49 lame BLs out of Thailand this week.
did you just complain that they said people should have safe sex? oh bye
Actually, I complained that "they say" people should have safe sex in a preachy, obvious way that leaps out of the story as a PSA. "They" also assume their audience is stupid and uninformed and needs to be educated about safe sex at every possible opportunity, which makes the show feel like an after-school special for adolescents.
😒 Meh🙄everyone is entitled to their own opinions. But I'll only address one thing you said and that's about…
It's mostly the obvious and preachy way in which these shows go about it that put me off. I think you know what I'm talking about. The writers/director don't bother to blend their preachiness into the script so it doesn't feel preachy. It's ham-handed and insulting, as if the audience consists of middle school students who need to be indoctrinated about rubbers.
It would be more honest and less annoying if they put a REAL PSA at the beginning of each episode and left it at that.
The show hasn’t ended and you already placed your judgement so you really don’t know how will the overal result…
ummm...that's why I said I already DROPPED it after two episodes. If a series can't give me good reasons to keep watching in TWO HOURS of air time, then it's already failed, which is why I dropped it.
Another juvenile Thai BL made for homophobic viewers who like gay romances only if no kissing is shown, the characters are Thai BL stereotypes of various kinds, the dialogue is ridiculously juvenile, and there is a preachy PSA for safe sex or safe sex products every half-hour.
Only in a Thai BL would an asexual person go on a date with a normal guy, then act surprised when he gets dumped after refusing to have sex. Asexuals are less than 1% of the population. Why doesn't he look for a date on an ace dating site?
Also I love how the asexual person is the psychiatrist that focuses on relationships and sex problems. cause like,…
" ...ace and aro spec people are THE BEST counselors when it comes to this stuff even though they usually don't have (a lot of) experience." How do you know this to be true? Could you provide a link or two to substantiate your claim? Thanks.
Also, how could such people be the "BEST" to give advice on something they've had little to no experience with? It's like saying the best person to teach you how to make a pizza is someone who has never done it themselves. Are you just making stuff up as you go?
Not as good as it could have been. Some hysterically funny stuff early on, but then started repeating situations over and over. Needed more excuses to get guys in their undies and into gay-ish situations. More skin would help a lot.
7/10, mostly for the dance scene in the bath house.
I just saw a clip from this on YT and added it to my MDL watchlist. lol I normally dislike almost everything out of Thailand, especially the lame BLs they've been pumping out the last two years at the rate of 50 a week, but this thing actually looks so stupid and slapstick-hilarious I'm going to give it a shot.
Damn, the soldier dancing in the barracks bath house in the clip, is sexy af even if he's not that great a dancer. Actually, the fact he's not that great with the moves just makes him seem hotter and more masculine. Wowza!
Oh, look who's back here replying to little ol' me again. lol It's clear that you're crushing hard...it's OK, Kylie. Lots of people crush on me, especially ones who try so hard to pretend they aren't doing so. You're like a pathetic BL character.
lol "...worked up and crying..." Yeah, that's me, for sure. In my OP above I clearly stated that I dropped it at 2:41 of the first episode. Can you not read? And here you are again, unable to ignore or block me.
"Get a grip and drop the damn thing." Seems YOU are the one getting "worked up," Kylie. I dare you not to respond to this comment.
Oh gosh, really? This is FICTION? I didn't know that.
I'll say what I want, thanks.
There is something super-lame about people who tell others to "move on," but don't "move on" themselves. Ignore my comments or block me if you're that butt-hurt.
oh, I don't know, perhaps because this is another, vomit-inducing piece of rancid fluff out of Thailand, the rancid fluff BL-making capital of the world...?
This is what I think everytime someone's life is ruined bc it's exposed they used drugs (especially marihuana,…
Well...I agree with about a third of what you wrote and disagree with the rest. But I'm not here to try to change your mind.
But I do want to point out that you, like a lot of other people, focus on what he was CHARGED with, and not what he was convicted of, which are very different things. He was NOT convicted of "rape," but you speak as if he was.
I have no opinion about the trial becoming a military one upon his enlistment because that just sounds bizarre to me. However, quite a few things about Korean culture/society are bizarre to me (I'm American), so this is just one more. I can't imagine someone in the U.S. being on trial for something which happened to overlap when they were due to enlist, and it automatically becoming a military matter. wtf? I'm pretty sure here the enlistment would be delayed until the civilian trial was over.
I will admit that part of the reason I am glad he has come out of this in one piece, served his time, and so far has not killed himself, is because WAY too many Korean entertainers/artists who were put through similar "scandals" ended up killing themselves. I'm glad to see someone say "fuck you" to the Netizen/suicide-enablers who would love to see him end up in a box.
Maybe you can help me with something. Are you Korean, btw? Since I heard of the Burning Sun thing, I've done a lot of research on it online. I watched a number of group interviews with Big Bang during which the other members openly dragged Seungri and criticized him for his lifestyle, implied he was hanging with gangsters and other bad people, etc. And the said this a LOT.
WHY would the Big Bang producers/managers/production company allow them to continue bringing that shit up if they didn't think it was somehow serving the commercial interests of Big Bang as a profit-making brand? We all know idols don't get to do whatever the fuck they want and say whatever they want to say in such situations. It's all controlled from above. I'm wondering...did Big Bang management think the negative discussion of Seungri's lifestyle and activities fed a desired perception of him as the "bad boy" of the group and more generally an ongoing dramatic behind-the-scenes narrative for fans to obsess over?
Because, again, these guys don't get to just say whatever they want. Especially not as many times as they said it, and with Seungri sitting right there. It doesn't make sense.
This is what I think everytime someone's life is ruined bc it's exposed they used drugs (especially marihuana,…
Do YOU watch/read/research anything non-hysterical and factual? He was NOT convicted of "rape." You are a liar.
The violations of which he was found guilty, as opposed to what psycho Netizens and people like you gossip about online, are highly technical in nature.
An appeals court reduced his sentence by half. I think they know more about this than you do. I believe Seungri pleaded guilty to crimes he did not commit at that time, so as to get the reduced sentence. I'd say I did shit I didn't do too if it meant getting out of jail 18 months early.
Another thing people like you do is treat women as if they're helpless, brainless little children, with no agency or decision-making powers of their own. If a woman chooses to sell her body for $$$, and someone else plays the middle man, she is at least as responsible for the "crime" as he is. Prostitution should be legalized anyway. It's only been around for thousands of years and isn't going anywhere. Might as well regulate and tax it.
Were any of the actual, you know, PROSTITUTES charged and tried? Not that I can find.
I'm glad he's out and doing well. He didn't kill anyone, and talking dirty in chat rooms is something you've probably done. Who cares?

1/10
