I guess that you and I just have different sensibilities. That is why they make vanilla AND chocolate. I hope…
Thanks for responding. :)
I stumbled across BL and then Asian cinema, all about the same time six and a half years ago, and never looked back. Ever since, I rarely watch American/Western films. It's by far mostly Asian/International, with Korean my easy preference.
Not only did I not expect the ultra-high acting, production, direction values, but I didn't expect how much more intensely I connect with the characters. I have tried to analyze that, but it's only guesswork. I may have been Korean/Asian in an earlier life. :)
For years now, it feels strange to watch a film withOUT subtitles. I know many rubes don't like them, but with the continued success of Korean/International films/dramas on NF, that has to be changing rapidly. Foreign shows are regularly in the top 10 of even USNetflix, and the US is about as xenophobic as a country can be.
I know because I live here. :P BTW, I hate Tr*mp and voted against him all three times. But still, I'm sorry for what he's doing to the world.
I literally signed in for like the first time in a year or two just so I could like your comment, because it had…
You just made my day. Thanks. :)
You should read the hate messages I'm getting today from MDL Little Girls who tell me to kill myself, then block me so I can't respond. :D It's a tough part of the job, but someone has to do it.
Oh dear, Walmart, I'm so sorry. In what way were you "personally attacked?" I don't think mocking a person's lack of taste and perception in live-action story-telling counts as a "personal" attack.
That would be like if I made fun of the huge wart on the end of your nose.
Finale: Lord. This is the kind of BL that, if one of my normal, non-BL friends IRL watched it with me, they would turn and ask, "You actually watch this shit?" lol
By far, the best thing about the show is the love/sex scenes. From acting, to blocking, to cinematography, they are feature film level. Which is why I suspect a director other than the series's credited director handled them. Not kidding, they are that different and that much better.
There are far too many ridiculous plot holes and inconsistencies to mention, so I won't. If you choose to watch, skip ahead to the sex scenes. I think there are only three and a half of them, though.
As for the MLs, they'd do better to establish a co-OnlyFans account and stop inflicting their non-sexual acting upon us.
This deserves much higher ratings! It is so good with balancing time jumps, plot twists, natural intimate scenes…
hahahahahahahahaha...

Episode 7: Don't believe the comments below raving about this show's awesomeness and giving it 10 ratings. They HAVE to be WeTV bot accounts.
This has become one of the most hilariously, unintentionally bad Kbls ever. :D I certainly hope Director Lee Heejin is never, ever, not in a million years, allowed near the set of any live-action production of any kind, anywhere, on any planet in any universe. My god...lol The acting/pacing/blocking that has resulted is epically, painfully slow, clunky, and...stupid.
Bringing in a psycho K-fan could have been a great move, but the acting/writing is so bad that all I could do was roll my eyes and lol. The actress is beautiful but will not soon win any Blue Dragon statuettes. I don't think I was supposed to laugh when shown a close-up of a butcher knife in the hand of the potential murderer of an ML. Or wonder why Saebeoyok didn't call the cops when death threats in unsealed, unaddressed red envelopes started piling up. ("I think I'll just start keeping this sweet fan mail in a special, keepsake box.") Or wonder why no one at the psycho fan's prison thought maybe they should read the outgoing mail in the unsealed envelopes before letting her brother haul them out of the facility. Or wonder why her brother was bringing her red envelopes. Or wonder why the b***h didn't seal her envelopes. Is she saving her spit?
I love when Koreans who want to go incognito in public dress in all black, complete with black ball cap pulled down low over their eyes so they will totally NOT look suspicious and conspicuous. :D
Lee Ja Woon's acting throughout has been god-awful, but it's gotten progressively worse. Other than during the sex scenes, which are the best part of the drama by far, he comes off as a sweet but damaged robot. Hwang Jun Su isn't a lot better, but at least there are some variations in his affect. Maybe they were romantically into each other during filming, and that came thru in the tasty sex scenes, because those are the only times they seem like fully-functioning humans with real emotions.
Unfortunately, there are far too few sex scenes.
On to episode 8, and this will be over, so I can stop watching. It's too good/bad to give up on my own.
I think we all know who's "watching Tom & Jerry and eating."

lol, yeah that's me, angst-filled people-attacker, who won't live long.
Thankfully, my early death will bring an end to my awareness of hilariously awful shows like this and bogus accounts like yours that support them.
I am paid $457,000.00 US for each comment I leave, provided it pisses off someone like you.
Thanks for helping me out.
As for the ravers...it's MDL. :)
Oh, but I do have a question: Do you also work for whoever did that actor's nose job?
I like!

4/10 (For the four sex scenes.)
lol
