I'm curious: Is the villain you refer to as "gay," actually gay in the film or not? Wondering what the…
First of all, how nice of you to drop a massive spoiler without warning me and putting it behind a spoiler button. Well done.
Secondly, did someone die and make you the Queer-Coding-the-Villain-When-His-Violence-Is-Already-Enough-To-Mark-HimAs-Bad Police? Did the director forget to send a pre-release copy of the film for your approval? Why do you see a BJ as a bad thing? I'd be tempted to regard such a person more highly after seeing that. Perhaps you have some internalized homophobia to work on.
Regardless, please put your above reply behind a spoiler button so you don't spray it all over unsuspecting people. I don't want the blame for asking an innocent question, not knowing I'd get a political mini-rant in response.
So, where's the spoiler tag now? My first comment was the opposite of aggressive. That changed when you refused, as you still do, to use the spoiler button.
There are a fair number of spoiler-lovers like you on MDL. Always pretending not to know what they're doing.
What did you like about it? Asking because of all the negative comments here.
Thank you for the clarification!
I'm going to give it a go and see what I think. I've learned there's no shame in dropping a flick part-way in, if it sucks. :) Actually, I do that quite a bit. :D
It IS obvious who you mean, as you well know, and yet now, even after being politely asked to use the spoiler button, you refuse to do so because you get off on passive-aggressively spoiling plot points while pretending NOT to spoil plot points.
So, now we know you're a spoiler fan who is also an ass. Thanks.
I wish MDL ratings were of use/value to me, but they aren't.
Here, we have an almost universally panned show, absolutely raped in comments, yet somehow it's a SEVEN out of TEN stars/points? If you looked up "wtf?" in a dictionary, this show's rating would be the thumbnail (along with the "Bad Buddy" rating, of course).
Seven out of ten is objectively a positive score; there is no way around it. The show should be at 3/10 or thereabouts, max. Why do MDLers refuse to use the bottom five/six stars on the ten-star rating scale? Most here seem to play around with the decimal points between six and nine, and that's about it.
Yes, I get it. You're a warrior, out to save us all from sexually harassing each other into oblivion, blah blah blah.
You are the overreaction to the problem of sexual harassment, and your overreaction minimizes the impact of the real thing when it actually happens. When a reassuring male hand on the shoulder of a male colleague is "sexual harassment," as has been implied here, a joke is made of the real thing. I know this kind of issue gives you a reason for living, but it's annoying to normal people.
Finally, learn to read before responding to my comments. I did not write that sexual harassment, in and of itself, is "refreshing." That's you twisting words into something you can respond to with fervent self-righteousness.
Yes, actual sexual harassment happens. There was none of it in this show.
Well done.

A beautiful flop.
4/10
My comment is somewhere among the other 1,900 comments on the 10dance thread. If you want to read it, let me know. I'll hunt it down and DM it to you.

I dropped this very early on and gave it a 1/10.
Anything so bad I have to run screaming, gets a 1/10 from me.
Can't believe this is from my fave BL studio, Strongberry.
More like WeakMary.
It would be best if you stopped proclaiming this and that as if you were the savior of all of Earth's oppressed peoples. You're embarrassing yourself.
On what stage or set did I play the role of an "ABUSER?"
Who did this actor "ABUSE?"
I look forward to hearing your answers. I'm always up for a laugh.
Cut out the stupidity.
Good god, grow up.
You're the problem.
I am sorry for the pain you endured, Sun Kyun. I pray you are at peace.
Thank you for all the joy you left behind in your artistic legacy.
An American fan
