I'm on episode 24, I'll try to finish it, but honestly, in my opinion, this drama doesn't even deserve a 1. Just for He Yu, I'll keep watching it.

He's in bed unconscious for a month and the next day he's up to see her off to Canada? Does whoever wrote this story have any idea what it's like after a month in bed? It's definitely impossible for him to be able to stand. Then walk... and the next day he's still there suffering from rehab, he can't even stand up? How did he manage to stand in front of her the day before and even sit down?! But the stupidest thing is that she reads his report on his multiple fractures and then suggests that staircase? I'm sorry, but this is either total stupidity or cruelty. Besides, when she first went to Thailand to look for him, she later realized he hadn't contacted her because of all the problems he'd had to deal with. Doesn't it occur to her that maybe even after the next 6 years he doesn't contact her because he's having problems, given that it had already happened? And the inspector tells her she's in a precarious situation after the accident, she goes to Canada to stay with her mother, without suspecting that he may have suffered serious consequences from the accident?? No, I'm sorry, I wanted to continue it despite the many things that didn't convince me at the beginning (her first and foremost, unbearable), but after the accident it became too absurd. Her character is really bad, stupid, and annoying.

How is it possible this drama has such a high rating? Some things are so absurd!

I loved it! The episodes flowed smoothly and quickly, never a dull moment. All the actors were great, the characters of the scholars turned officials were very appealing. The main leads had great chemistry. I'd never seen anything by Wang Chu Ran, and I have to say I thought she was really good, as well as beautiful. And last but not least, quite the opposite. He's the most exceptional thing about this drama, Cheng Lei... good, very good, wonderful. Gorgeous as always, but above all, very good, fantastic acting. I've seen a lot of his work, and he's actually become my favorite actor for a long time now, along with Zhang Ling He. I admit that at first this drama didn't appeal to me, I realized his role was very different from the roles we've been used to recently: strong, practically invincible men. But then the excitement for The First Jasmine, which I'm eagerly awaiting to finish so I can watch it all in one go, convinced me to watch How Dare You. And thankfully! A magnificent role, exceptional acting. I've always thought he was great, but here he gave a truly intense performance. His conveyance of emotional and physical suffering, his transition from a kind and weak person to a heartless tyrant... man, how wonderful. I recommend it. The only difficulty was toward the end, in the confusion of the fight, figuring out who was on one side or the other. But in reality, it made me understand even more the difficulties of the various characters, who in turn couldn't understand who they were fighting against. Beautiful! I highly recommend it.
I'm giving it a 9.5 instead of a 10 because the final minutes (Happy Ending) didn't completely satisfy me. There should have been a little more romance, in my opinion.

I didn't like it very much. It was too long-winded, too reminiscent of the old days. And there's an old cliché about parents, especially the mother, not understanding their son. But Zhang Ling He is brilliant; the scene where he tries to emancipate himself after winning the national Olympics and realizes he's failing is so beautiful. His acting, his expressions are so good. Here he plays a character who's decidedly different from those I've seen so far, more fragile and sensitive, and cries a lot because he's in so much pain. All in all, I'm glad I saw it just for him. And well done to the other actors, especially the various friends.

I've started this drama because I wanted a happy ending for them after Till The End Of The Moon...
But it's so boring... Already on episode 17 and nothing is really happening...
I'm bored and frustrated... She misunderstands and doesn't trust him, but is completely trustful towards the other main lead...
36 episodes are really too much at this rhythm... I'm thinking of dropping and rewatching TTEOTM. Not a happy ending but far better.

Edit: on episode 20 I almost gave up and I decided to watch it fast forward, just to see the end... For me it's a 5.5 drama, just because I like him as actor. Otherwise I would rate it only 1. I really don't understand a so high rate

Can someone explain me the second couple ending? Just a hug and then Hua Yong explaining to his son that Shen Wen Lang has a suspension of the death sentence and that it's all thanks to uncle Gao's magical breath keeping him alive... What's the meaning of that? It's metaphorical? It's just that Shen has to make Gao Tu forgiving him to stay together? Why they couldn't give us a proper good ending also for them? I have been waiting for it from the 1st episode...

Just finished it. I really enjoyed it, I literally devoured it.
Loved the story, the visuals, the special effects, the main leads but also the other characters.
Great chemistry, great kisses, great romance.
A FL strong and smart.
Also interesting villains.
And loved that there were not the usual misunderstandings between them. They loved each other practically from the beginning and when they couldn't stay together it was not because of misunderstanding.

I don't understand why this drama has a rate so high. I'm at episode 20 and I really can't stand the FL... I'm not dropping only because of Yuning... 20 episodes and still she thinks only what she wants (bad things about him) without asking or believing him... And I don't understand why he seems already have felt in love with her... Why??? There's no actual reason... She's so narrow-minded and annoying... Please someone tell me that she's going to change. Other 20 episodes like that and I won't survive
