I think the 'story within a story' is just a set up and actually the whole thing that FL is writing or dictating to the viewers right now is her real life story/ reality which has happened in past which made the ML and FL got together in the present

I wish they renew this show.....its been so long yet i can't forget this show

I think the last episode was more or less unnecessary. There was almost nothing to see....they could've added some fun elements in the last one at least. we never got to see the girls living a fun high school life

things just turned the worst way possible for them!!
But at least it became interesting with this week's episodes and viewers have something to focus on ....rather than a messy storyline of who wants what
Taeoh's rise is all I want

considering that i've watched korean version, i can tell you that guy's character is just like that but the script has been changed. and the thai script kinda sucks cuz it makes guy more like a 2nd lead or even worse. I too like win and somehow i feel that its not bcuz of his acting but rather the less screen time and less wow scenes that doesn't create the chemistry between the main leads.

I feel the same....she suddenly has feelings for him!? this is so sudden.....i mean given how she developed feelings for guy like that, it would rather be more plausible to have feelings for saint lol

exactly!! it may not be everyone's taste and so can be called average but its better than more than half of the kdrama industry

this also proves how people just don't know how to watch dramas or movies....cuz this drama showed emotions in a very indirect way. the expressions were subtle and amazingly portrayed by the actors yet people are saying that the actors didn't did well!!
This only proves that they were blindly watching the drama without having any observation skills

I really like this drama but i still don't prefer the idea of season 2 which basically means "waiting for a long time" and probability of it not turning out well TT

I hate it how Taeoh's character is portrayed as someone disliked by everyone or being used, having no substantial existence or significance of its own.
If the character was not strong and smart, I think it would've been the worst of any drama.

well i can somewhat get how you must be feeling about this show's progress.....its not a bad thing though since there are huge amount of shows airing or are coming soon

yea it got a bit slow in ep 5 and 6.....Its not that you are confused. Considering normal human behaviour, if something is dragged for too long it gets tiring for our mind.
The concept of jihan and ahjung falling for each other but not being able to express how they feel is getting a bit draggy atp....writers should quickly wind up this scenario and bring a new twist that could hold on viewers.
My deduction is that this will be a bit hard to watch till ep 8 but from ep 9 you will see a new twist that will be the main base of story in ep10.
So if you can hold on until then....it will get super fun from ep 10 according to my deductions.
IF they created such good plot from ep1-4, I believe everything's gonna be fun from ep10 or even ep 9

I desperately want to see him in main role which is cold but not a bully at least. A romance genre!! I think he would kill it ~

she only installed the virus so that the money gets tracked and she will know where the money actually ends up at the last.
As according to the normal scenario, the money would be returned back to people who has right over it, but we all know that sometimes there's manipulation and it ends up with the powerful person, here Q, who doesn't have rights over it. So as to prevent it, the officer asked Kiko to install some virus or something so that she can track whether money goes to people as planned or not.

I think the story again became engaging with kiko's part. In last season, we barely got the back story of Kiko. This season presented her whole life to the viewers and I must say Kiko's character and its story was indeed really good.
I must say I'm gonna die with curiosity one day, not knowing who exactly is Q. I hope in S3, it finally gets revealed.
Just a bit disappointed that this season we didn't get to see anything about Noda Koji.....but that's understandable since chen zheyuan is so busy with all those romance dramas.

The whole DETECTIVE CHINATOWN franchise is really a masterpiece when it comes to set-up. The movies and series being connected and characters being introduced in a very interesting manner with depth. The timeline coinciding and even the romance is in phases with little cute interactions or cameos.
It's a fun watch if you know what's happening in their world. Like Q's connection to the characters, Tang ren and the people connected to him, Qin feng and Kiko's romance, lin mo and sasha's duo with that Fox lady- Ivy doing shady things and now one more villain added- THE ONE.

I think both Q and Ivy's appearance in Season 3 will be much anticipated.
