Not me screaming and kicking my feet during that bus stop scene 🤭🥰🥰
was so thrilling that they got their own happy ending......absolutely loved the line that you don't stop being a family just because you move house ... :-D
A huge disappointment. I hate it whenever they do LGBTQ+ series coming of age its always so fucking sad.. like…
that's why i love watching thai bl series..... the one playing now 'only friends - season 2' is really good in this respect....even better than the first series....it has a very satisfying end :-D
in an attempt to put the whole queer/not-queer fights to rest :-) i feel the purpose of this drama was to present the idea that a soul mate is beyond any categorical relationship like "friend"/"spouse"/"partner" etc....the tragedies that occur in all kinds of relationships are briefly depicted - parental love, child's loe, gay love, unrequited love.....they all can be both uplifting and also tragic, given the circumstances.....but the love that transcends all these is that which rests in the soul which transcends the mind and the heart .... which does not have a reason....like there is no reason for johan to help his gay friend - the bar guy, there is no reason for ryu's mom to care for sumiko, there is no reason for ryu to 'rescue' johan....it is a pure kind of soul connection that transcends relationships....to show that, i think, was the purpose....so to label as anything - queer, gay, melo etc etc....limits the message of the series.....in this sense it was really deep....but it was so subtly done that i had to think about it for all these days since i watched it, to understand......therefore, it is a really really amazing series but in this age of reels and shorts and fruit-fly attention spans, it would have served the message better to have a longer series and show the development and dissolution of relationships as opposed to the eternal-ness of soul-love better....hope we can all love and be loved....no need to be hurt or hurtful :-)💕
Ok but to me it feels like Jungwoo turned evil way too fast
no no...he turned evil in the way back episode 3-5 somewhere when he took off his rosary beads and left them on his dad's grave....ass, the pm i mean, not you ;-)
i think it is just right to have 12 episodes////any more would have been just more tiresome plotting against each other.....this way it gets wrapped neatly.....and i think since the time that he was constantly obstructed, i-an wanted to end the monarchy....so it is not like it just cropped now....but all the platting against each other just speeded it up....before he may have taken his time to do it but now he is so done that like he just wants to crush the system that is causing everyone around him so much pain....
I wish you would not assume just because he is popular, he can't act. The reason he got popular is because he…
totally agree with you on his excellent performance in strong girl....but his performance in any other drama is no less.... :-) they suit the characters, hence the popularity....while i agree his beauty is overwhelming.....i believe the sincerity of his performance also comes across....even in scenes where he is not made to look "specially" beautiful ;-)
