characters like zhou ru ji piss me off because they only feel threatened once a real "competition" comes into the picture like bruh if you've known them for years and never had the guts to confess then that's a you problem like either do it or move tf on
anyways i couldn't care less about the secondary couples but if that makes him stop hovering around the leads like a pest sooner than later i'm all for it lmao
one of the better adaptations for sure! it kept the charm of the original source yet still kept things fresh so it didn't become predictable. funny, sweet with a touch of angst. chemistry and acting was on point. i was especially impressed by our fl. she's so gorgeous, charismatic and has a natural talent for comedy. my favourite addition was the glimpse into the "real world" of the characters. despite being only a few minutes at a time, it was so good and had me wanting more. happy to see everything worked out for them. 🥰❤️
not them watching once we get married and xin qi asking who's more handsome: the actor or him and min hui saying the actress doesn't look like her at all
i love silly jokes like this; would have been funnier if quan quan said the actor 😂😂
when he said he was grateful to her for giving birth to quan quan because it meant he's not alone in this world anymore and how she was fighting back her tears 🥹🥹
ttj reminding me of the quote "a hero will sacrifice the person they love to save the world, but a villain will sacrifice the world to save the person they love.”
i'm really impressed how quickly they handled the reveal. usually with a plot like this they would drag it to death. quan quan is indeed a daddy's boy. they are just so freaking cute. i understand xin qi's excitement and how he's doing all these stuff like buying toys and clothes to try and make up for the missed times but i also feel for min hui. he needs to learn to slow down and respect her boundaries. things are shaky between them right now so i hope we get a scene with them confiding in each other and seeing things from the others' perspective.
oh damn so su tian is indeed a part of the story. i was hopeful that wouldn't be the case but alas xin qi has every right to be pissed off. the tension between them is so good ugh and of course their chemistry is *chef's kiss*. quan quan is adorable. I LOVE THEM. the interactions between father and son was so precious.
unless the person is abusive/deadbeat, i'm not a fan of them being kept in the dark about their child. i like to believe min hui has tried hard to find him but since he moved abroad, it would have made contact unlikely? on top of how much he hated her it's possible he wouldn't have seen her anyway. it seems the fault doesn't just lie with her because she did tell him the truth but he immediately passed out. she tried to explain but he wouldn't listen.
wyw's drunk acting in that scene was so good. you could really feel her anguish. it's such a shame they're both dubbed again. anyways i think they won't dwell on it too much which i'm okay with because i'd rather see all the cute and fluffy moments with our family of 3 sooner than later. it's obvious they both still have feelings for each other.
