Taiwan knows how to make BLs

You Are Mine is really silly and sweet. I have to say this BL is a little different from others because it gives a fresh feeling.
Although the acting could have been better and the story felt a little rushed, I would still watch it again.
To be honest this is the first Taiwanese BL I've ever seen without any steamy scenes and I really liked it, kept it PG for young watchers or to people who rather watch cute over hot.
I've always been a fan of Taiwan's BLs, they never once disappoint.

I'll never judge a book by it's cover.

At first I wasn't going to watch it but decided to give it a chance and I do not regret it. The story is really good and the acting really made me feel what they were feeling. In the beginning the series had a lot of drama (in a good way) and the characters acted more like adults. While the seires was starting to get to the end the characters turned a little more child-like, more playful. I'm not saying it's a bad thing but I just think it came out of nowhere.

Vee- Vee wasn't my favorite person because of how many times he asked for forgiveness from Mark and then act like it didn't happen. He did have really sweet moments that made my heart skip a beat which made his character a little more likeable.

Mark- At first I thought Mark was a little rude and selfesh but realized that he was just being young and inlove. As the series went on I grew a soft spot for him, especially when he was hurt by Vee.

This series is really good and I would 110% recommend it to you if you haven't seen it yet, if you can't find it on YouTube you can watch it on WeTV or on DailyMotion. enjoy the rest of your day!

Underrated!

Yes, this seires did have a sad ending and I do think that Yu Xi Gu deserved better but not all love stories have a happy ending and that's why I think it's underrated. Most people want a happy ending where they end up getting married and living happily ever after but like I said not all love stories have that kind of ending, which makes it more close to reality. The acting was great, I really felt the emotions of the characters and I would watch this again even after knowing what happenes. I did feel bad for Yu Xi Gu's boyfriend (forgot his name lol), he was stuck in place and never moved on. The actors stole my heart and I'm greatful that I got a chance to see this story grow.

SAD THAT IT ENDED T~T

Why.... why did it have to end?? I wish I could continue to see there life together..... *sniff sniff*
I do have to say that some scenes were kind of goofy which was actually nice because it made the series less dramatic and intense.
The only fight scenes that were actually good in my opinion were the ones with War and Yin, the other ones were a little silly.
I loved the build up for the romance between Jack and Joker! The tension, the hidden feelings that were about to explode, the moments where they felt like it was just the two of them against the world? AHHHH, yes please!!!! They are just so hot together lol.
No matter what, Jack will always forgive Joker and Joker will always try to make it up to Jack. They fight for each other and they love each other very dearly. Where can I find that?? T~T
Also, can I get a different series where Prom and Mark get together??? I saw their small interaction in Love Mechanics and I think I saw a little something between them even though Mark was only on screen for 7 seconds lol.
Anyway.... LOVED Jack&Joker!! MASTERPIECE >~<

Best BL I've Seen in a While

This definitely contains spoilers.

This series was not exactly what I was expecting. I knew the base of the story, but the show itself surprised me. It was such a journey!
I couldn't stop smiling, gasping, and screaming out of worry/ shock. There were many twists and turns, but they were amazingly done so I'm glad that I was able to be a part of it.

Namping surprised me. He did such an amazing job and left me with a good impression. Playing the quiet and shy really suited him since he's a little bit like that IRL. Khem is such a sweet guy who's only fault was trying to protect his family and friends as a kid in his fast life over 300 years ago. Regardless, he’s very kind and has a big heart with lots of love to share.

Keng did great. He wasn't trying to be funny and I think that made me like his character even more. It suited him very well. Peem is a serious guy who wants to protect those around him and will do anything for Khem, despite his promise to his grandfather. I like him a lot, especially when he's a little jealous lol.

Firstone was a perfect choice for Jet. Being chaotic somehow suits him very well. Jet is a caring person who doesn’t want to lose his best friend, so he’ll search for ways to protect him from death.

Tle left me a little speechless. His character, Charn, is a silly guy who has the worst eyesight I’ve ever witnessed lol. In my mind, Tle is different from Charn but that being said, makes him an even better actor, right? Also, Charn is very caring and will do his best to help.

Ek and Thong were so cute! I read some people say that they were useless to the series but I didn’t see it that way. They helped the guys many times when in danger, and popped out of nowhere to be comedic relief. So, in my opinion they were very useful. And cute. I cried on EP 9.

The crew did an amazing job with cinematography, music, special effects, the whole works! I really love how the story was written and would wish to see other things like Khemjira.

In EP 12 with the final battle against Ramphueng, when the monk revealed who he was, it felt as though she let go of her entire revenge plan that she had for 300-400 years was almost completely forgotten. Don’t get me wrong, happy that she reunited with her son and that she finally let Khem live, but it was like a 180 switch, which realistically isn’t easy. It takes time to heal and to find clarity. Still, happy to know that she moved on after centuries of hate and heartache. Almost cried with the flashbacks haha.

In conclusion, Khemjira is GREAT! It’s definitely something I would recommend to others. Honestly, this series is on my list of “I’d lose my memory just to watch again” lol.

Chef's Kiss !!

This drama is a true master piece! I very much enjoyed it and I hope to see something like it in the future. I LOVED all of the characters and the story was beautifully executed. I forgot that there were only 12 episodes so when the 12th episode came, the ending suprised me even more. Loved it though! The lines he used made me so happy lol.

A little fast but overall good

Because of the fact that this is a short movie that's around 44 minutes, it'd make sense that they had to keep the story on a quick straight path.
The actors did a very good job and they had great chemistry.
The story was sad but also bittersweet.
If you haven't seen Light yet, I recommend you to give it a chance.

Crash Landing on My Heart

This drama is just too good! Everything was well done and perfectly balanced.
I actually started to watch this because my English teacher recommended it to me, since watching K-dramas was something we had in commen (where I'm from the teachers are very friendly with their students so it isn't weird to talk to them about stuff like that). She watched it with her daughter and said that they liked it and that she thought I would like it too and oh boy, she was right.
So please, if you haven't seen "Crash Landing on You", PLEASE watch it!! You will not regret it.

Weak Hero Class 1 is a must watch!

Oh my god I just finished it and I just can't, it's amazing.

At first I felt bad for Beom Seok for hanging out with the wrong people similar to the guys that used to bully him. I mean, it was nice to see him smile but for the wrong reasons! I started to dislike him when he was starting to become a bully himself, which was really disappointing to see.
Shi Eun has my heart 🥺💗 Park Ji Hoon did an amazing job and he played the character so well that he made me feel every emotion.
Soo Ho.... PLEASE WAKE UP 😭 Choi Hyun Wook also did a wonderful job so please don't let that be the last of him!!
All the bullies can go to prison for all I care.

Please watch it, it is such an astonishing show! You will not regret it.

A MUST WATCH

I absolutely loved it! Everything was beautiful, no need for any change because it was perfect.

Plot- The plot was so interesting and it kept me on my toes. It wasn't fast paced at all but maybe it was because it had a good amount of episodes.

Actors- Amazing, absolutely amazing. The actors did such a great job! I really felt their emotions especially in the end where they made me cry lol. My favorite character is Lee Gang Doo, I felt such pain and love seeing him. You will understand once you see him.

This series is such a masterpiece, the best K-drama I've ever seen. If you haven't seen it yet then what are you doing? Go watch it! You will feel ALL the emotions, the bad and the good.
Hope this review helps you, have a lovely day!

Good series

Secret Lover is really sweet and the actors did very well. Honestly, the only problem I had with this series was the fact that it was a bit fast paced. 10 episodes with twenty something minutes felt like enough time for the story but the way they did it was basically pushing a bunch of stuff into the first couple of episodes. They could have spread it out more because up until episode 2 you see things that usually happened around ep 4 or 5, but maybe it was because of the fact that the show was slightly shorter than others? That is just my opinion.
Regardless, Secret Lover is wonderfull and 100% something you should check out. Junxi and Tuo are just the cutest!

Left confused

Saying this now but there are definitely going to be spoilers in this review so if you haven't Zomvivor, maybe don't read this?
This series is spectacular. Amazing actors, good cinematography and cool effects. You could really tell that they had a big budget and they used it right. They were really dedicated to this drama. But there were some moments where I was like: "Huh? Wait, what?"
Don't get me wrong, the story and the plot were interesting but the ending was so not what I expected.
What happened during that 1 month? Where are the other survivors? Why was Nonn in a cage and why did he have blue eyes like his mom? And where did Ning and Wiroj go?
The ending felt like such a huge cliffhanger and I want to know more.
Overall, Zomvivor is a really good show and I would 100% recommend it if you like this type of genre.

So cute I could just eat it up

I honestly started watching this drama because I was bored and wasn't watching anything at the moment, but oh boy did it turn out be more.
It's quirky, funny, lovely, the characters are great, the actors are amazing, cinematography is wonderful. The whole thing just checks off all my boxes. I literally have no issues with Tastefully Yours. It's a true treasure that I'm happy I've found.
Ughhhh, it's so cute that I just wanted to eat it up!! I will definitely watch again and again, never being able to get rid of that foot kicking, giggling, hair twirling, butterfly feeling.
I wish there were more dramas like Tastefully Yours. It's truly one of the best that I've seen.

No

Honestly, while watching Connect, I felt like there was something important that I was missing, but it just wasn't there. The story feels rushed, and the characters' opinions change quickly.
Why was Ian upset at Juhyuk? Did he do something in the past? Is that why he was shocked to find out that Juhyuk was Alt? I felt like there should have been a story behind the reason, but I honestly didn't know what it was, and I was confused the entire time.
Jisu was also upset with Juhyuk for 'deceiving' Ian (honestly didn't see it as deception), but when they were talking at first, he was like: "You hurt my friend", and then suddenly: "Ian knows you're sincere". I mean... huh? How did Ian show any indication that he thought Juhyuk was sincere? Because to me, he just looked upset. Wrongfully so.
The actors were rushing things, and the show had so many holes.
If I had to recommend KBLs to someone, Connect would not even show up on the list.

More than a good laugh

Honestly, this drama was on my PTW for a while, but once I saw that it was coming off of Netflix, I decided to start it, and oh boy, it was not what I expected.
From what I thought was going to be a rom-com with two love interests, it was actually a lot deeper than that. There were even moments where I literally screamed at the TV, whether it was how annoying a certain character was being or when I got second-hand-embarrasment. But of course, there were a lot of moments that made me smile and laugh.
I really liked Gong Shim and Ahn Dantae's relationship. Although it took a while for them to get to the point of being able to call it dating, every minute of it was worth it.
There were some relationships that I wasn't a big fan of, like Gong Mi and Gong Shim's relationship, for example. Gong Mi chose her job over her own sister, and when things weren't going her way, she blamed Gong Shim. She also didn't want people to know they were sisters for the sake of her job, once again.
Another relationship I wasn't a big fan of was Junsu and his grandmother. Like Gong Mi, Junsu's grandmother blamed him for something that wasn't his fault. For 26 years. I hated it when she said that Junpyo was her one and only grandson. Like, what the heck?
Anyway, Beautiful Gong Shim is a must-watch. I really enjoyed it, and I hope to see more shows that give me that weird nostalgic feeling I got while watching this.
