sigh. not me rewatching scenes over and over again. anywho, anyone know anything about the music directing here? Reminds me of Little Women, or is that just me?
Yup they did very good with remake of drama. In novel Fei Kouer had many faces to hide her real face. Since she…
ah, thank you for sharing this! wanted so bad to know how the novel went when I watched this series the first time, and now I've rewatched it and still need to know! do you happen to know if there is an english translation of the novel? are the novel and drama ending the same?
Yesss was YZ. Now I'm wondering why YZ is in possession of SJ's dead brother's belongings, I find it quite strange
this struck me as strange too. maybe GSJ gave it to GYZ because GSJ was too sad to look at the knife and genuinely cares about GYZ as a little brother? the only thing I can think of is that GYZ stole it, but he seems to look up to CSJ too much to do that.
I find the concept of time in this story interesting, still not sure if it is in a good or a bad way. Am I correct…
I agree. I'm loving this show but the two week mark throws the vibe off a bit for me. Especially the main romance, it feels like so much more time than two or three weeks should have passed for GZY and YWS to get where they're at in their relationship. So many terrible things have happened, it really makes the romance feel rushed in a way that I might not have been concerned about without that time marker.
I don't know why I keep checking this page every day hoping its done airing so I can binge it, knowing damn well that this is not ending for another couple of weeks. I can't bare the 12 min a day waiting game, but I am also impatient to watch it. I think the erratic airing schedules have me nervous too, gotta make sure it's staying on track.
Her name is P'Ja (Yossinee). She also produced this series with her husband. A spectacular lakorn indeed by this…
Oh wonderful, thank you so much! Took a look and it seems like she doesn't have an MDL page. Might need to start learning how to do these things myself.
Side note, does anyone know the name of the screenwriter? I know it's based off a book, but it still takes work to translate a book to screen, and what a stellar job they did! Time to look into other dramas they've worked on...
I lost track of how many times I cried at this series, right through to the last episode where I was crying tears…
Also I'm not usually very excited or moved by proposal scenes but Mata really made me cry and laugh at the same time. A character that truly lives in the moment saying the time will fly by, let's not waste another minute. My type of romance.
Plus, Mata did not come to play. Once she decided that Penneung was hers, it was a wrap. She laid her claim and then she didn't wait for him to make it official. That's my girl right there.
I lost track of how many times I cried at this series, right through to the last episode where I was crying tears of joy! The last couple of eps felt rushed to me as they wrapped complicated relationships and family histories up too neatly; I really would have loved a few more episodes for them to flesh out the emotional journeys of some of these characters. Even with that factor this is still one of my favorite dramas of the year and in general, and it makes me happy to know that a show with such a loving portrayal of queer family and the greenest couple to ever green has had high ratings. If you need something to lift your spirits, look no further, this will do the trick.
Also not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for these moments we've gotten with Penneung just reading all the things that Mata isn't saying. First it was him knowing she got bit by a dog just because she told him not to come over (him running over to her place was so cute!), then it was him knowing that she was considering breaking up because she was worried about his mom. A perceptive and emotionally intelligent male lead is my kryptonite, mostly because they are so rare.
Penneung and Tri at the start of episode 19 - yeah that had me in all the feels and that trickled over to Tri…
The scene with Tri and Penneung was great! Really enjoy seeing how much Pennueng has grown and evolved emotionally, even to the point that he said he learned from Mata and her family. Penneung going to put his arm around Tri was really the sweetest thing, when at the beginning of the series he could barely touch people if it wasn't his patient. Now he's out here teaching his family how to hug. Love to see it.
As much as I dislike Tri's mom, seeing her husband steal all the money that she worked hard to save me so mad!! I think I might have yelled at my screen. Curious to see what sort of ending Tri's parents get.
came back to add that I've never felt a show was so incredibly underrated as this one. Finally understand why people get intense about ratings.
