This is not the case though. The time travel world is full of inconsistencies and paradoxes. If there are no rules but instead infinite options to reset the time, to meet themselves, to duplicate the travelling devices ( you name it) then the plot will be unresolved because they are already in an "unofficial" time loop. The Ghost will always go back to install the Grid ( because she has already done it after all) and there will always be a chance for someone else to be there and mess with the first installation, and then change the future with any possible consequences for the main characters of the Ghost herself.
That is the reason why I've lost all interest about the fates of the characters. Because their fates can be all and everything. The writer can switch this drama to a romance f.e or anything else! It can be everything and anything.
But the things that were supposed to interest the viewers are still unresolved and on top that they are unimportant now because this drama is already at it's 8th episode and we still bother with things that were supposed to bother us on the 4th episode.
The more I write about this the more I'm getting into the urge to downrate it further.

Yes it would have been great to reveal in the end to the people there in this world that they were characters of a virtual game.
That would have made sense because the Ghost and the Killer would have been the players who could reset the one the others game as it was shown at some point.
And it would have made sense when the Killer said to the Ghost "when I'll get out I'll kill you " while the Ghost was drinking tones of Cola and was eating tones of sweets ( things that she wouldn't be able to do in real life).
That were the things that I saw and I thought that they were in a game and they had fun into the game messing up with the lives of the otherwise other virtual characters.
But it turned out to be something else and I've turned out to be a better writer than them... loooool

I have watched Sisyphus and it was one of the same. Great production and awful plot.

There are not that many things to do unless they manage to compact all the things that they didn't show on the previous 8 episodes in the final two ones.
This drama had so much potential...
In the first episodes I thought that they were in a virtual game and I wrote it somewhere on the comments below. That the Ghost and the Killer were players and the others were characters of the game. This would have been way more interesting as a concept and there wouldn't be any paradoxes and plot holes.
But unfortunately it ended up being another non comprehensible boring time travel drama with problematic plot.

I got bored waiting for something to happen. I've expected that somewhere in the middle of this drama they would have had reveal something about why the Ghost is trying to install the Grid, why she is protecting the killer. But by the end of episode 8 it is back where it started.
Unless the fact that the ML is not the janitor's child is such a great revelation that pushes forward the whole plot.... that it isn't. Because the point is not who is the killer but why they run all after this guy. The Ghost lady to protect him and the others to catch him. Unless they keep this "great" revelation for the finale...
I've put this drama on hold because I have a load of other more interesting dramas to watch and I'm not going to wait each week for this stupid thing to broadcast, and my rating ( that probably is not going to change to something better) is a very valid 4,5.
Very bad drama and it is a shame because the production and the cast is very good...
But the plot is the worst ever. Boring, repetitive, stalled for ever.

I know that he doesn't remember but he should have remember things that experienced himself as a child. He is the same person.

Even if that hadn't already happened, and was start happening the moment he did it, then he should have had the memory of this event either way because as an adult in the future he has already lived this event.

I've already lost any interest about the fates of the main characters mostly because the story is not moving forward. From episode 1 to episode 8 nothing important has actually happened.

Seriously now.. tell me one single thing that it was important. The plot not only didn't move forward but they are back in time at the events that happened on episode 4! The device was duplicated, two people traveled simultaneously and what new did we learn? Just that the janitor's child wasn't the ML but the killer. And nothing else at all. We are back where the story started. All run after the killer and the killer is running to hide. If that isn't boring after 8 episodes then what?

I have already watched most of the time travel dramas but the cause and effect rule doesn't apply to this one. It is already messed up beyond any repair! lol

I've just watched the 8th episode and I'm putting it on hold with a rating of 4.5. And that because the final result's options can be infinite.
There are no rules on the time travelling and there are also no rules to who can travel with which device, who can take others with him or her, or send them on another time line, who can remember what and so on.
I've already lost my interest on the fates of the lead characters and I'm putting it on hold instead of dropping it because I've already watched 8 episodes.
But they were a completely and utter waste of my time.

With such a mess of a plot? There is nothing there that makes sense starting with the time travel rules which change randomly.

Same did I but I realized that this wasn't the case on episode 7.

I'm putting it on hold because I watched already 8 episodes and I'm rating it with a 4,5 that it might change to something better when and if I'll have time to finish it.
The plot is a mess either way and doesn't make any sense up until now and I'm not interested any more to figure out what and why..

The only ambiguous scene and the one that IMHO confused some people is the scene of the first day at the school where Chao Yang is imagining Yan Liang going to the school too.
But prior to this scene it was another that showed how unpopular was Chao Yang among the other students and that explains why he wished and imagined to had his one and only single friend Yan Liang at the school, something that it would have been impossible for obvious reasons. I mean to have him at the same school at the same class as Yan Liang wouldn't be able to catch up and be in the same class with the other children of his age.
But that was exactly what Yan Liang's uncle told him at the end. To go back to school. To learn how to behave and go back to school and Yan Liang told him that he will do so and that he wants to become a cop when he will grow up!
