This is one of the very few dramas I'd watch for a secondary couple if the primary couple wasn't good. Love Huanhuan and Zhenyu as much as Li Yubing and Tang Xue
So cute, so funny... I laughed a lot and couldn't stop smiling for most of the drama. There was some boring drama and annoying characters but it's expected, and it didn't lessen my interest in the drama at all as most of the conflicts were solved fast. They showed many different types of love beautifully and gave a lot of growth for most of our characters (the only one I didn't see a change was Xia). Apart from Kai Tuo and his selfish ass (He Xin, you deserve better!!!!!!), I loved every character, even Miao Miao's sister and mom, despise her mistake. I highly recommend to who doesn't have a problem with slow paced romance.
I'm currently watching Skate Into Love and loving it soooooo much! I'm a little more excited than usual watching it because I'm reading the novel too so I'm always looking forward to my favorite scenes hahahaha I'm planning to watch Love & the Emperor, Love of Thousand Years, Frog Prince, Honey Don't Run Away and The Romance of Tiger and Rose, but first I need to finish Eternal Love of Dream and Fairyland Lovers. Sigh.
Thank you for this! You actually clarified some points I couldn't get from the drama. You're totally right, the way it presented the history and culture of Thailand was definitely the "it" factor of the drama. I was so amused and surprised by some historical facts - like the portuguese landing their stinky feet there, I had no idea they went to Thailand too. The sceneries! Locations! Costumes! Hairstyles! All so pretty~ No words for the cast, everyone did amazing! And, Pope and Bella's chemistry? CHEMISTRY!! Hoping for ch3 to officially turn them into a koojin haha
Coffee & Vanilla - most of people take this drama wrong. People watch it as if it's supposed to be taken seriously but y'all IT'S NOT!!! C&V seems to mock shoujos while making a good shoujo. I loled all the time with how they exaggerated every shoujo characteristic. If you don't take it seriously, you will enjoy it much more
Bhuppae Sunniwat - This is a time-travel to ancient Thailand. I learned so much about their history and their culture. I fell in love with the characters and had a good laugh with them too. You just gotta forgive them for bad production lol it's expected from lakorns
Love the Way You Are - it has some annoying push and pull at the first half but when the romance starts... Oh Lord!!!! They're cute CUTE okay? Their relationship is totally GOALS. And the chemistry is out of this world. The drama itself is so funny - from beginning to end - and light. It also used cliches amazingly to talk about fatophobia, self-esteem and self-acceptance. Oh, and every time you think it will get too dramatic, something happen and the conflict is solved beautifully
