Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms managed to be my favorite cdramas and my favorite drama along with Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. As both dramas are veedeeeery different, you can imagine how surprising it is to such drama get my #1. I'm crazy for romcoms and I absolutely and resolutely run away every drama that can make me suffer too much - I never finished Ashes of Love and don't intend to :) -, TMOPB is just SO good that it made all the suffering worth it

It's not like it's the only genre being aired, just don't watch it if you're sick of it

You were about to pass the push and pull thing and go to the real thing. If you didn't try it again, I highly recommend, it's worth it!

This drama seems super cliche and simple but it actually used cliches and simpleness to talk about love, self-esteem, friendship and fatophobia in such a delicate way. I got a little zzz at the beginning because there was some push and pull bs but omg when things got clear between he leads? Everything went just BEAUTIFUL, CUTE, SMOOTH, PERFECT

Japanese dramas are 100% likely to make me cry. I like to watch them when I'm feeling depressed so I can cry out my feelings lol
I have to say that kdramas are getting less and less romantic. They've been so focused in thrillers, it's getting boring. China, otherwise, is giving us everything we want, both from historical and modern dramas. For the past 2 years, 70% of the dramas I've watched are chinese

A remake doesn't mean they'd redo everything, that's the point. Korea also had many wars so it wouldn't be a problem. And many of the scenes here are useless fillers, a 20 episodes drama would fit everything necessary to make a solid script

Maybe it's because the character itself doesn't require much? All the pressure is on the actors that played the ml, her character was very basic.

Gosh I HATE Oh Hae Young. Like you said, she wasn't that bad at the beginning but then she went full-time jealous bitch and I spent the rest of the drama eye-rolling. The male lead also doesn't help much btw, he's just meh. This drama was waste of time and money

Yo lol Han Hyo Joo was reeeeally bad in W. But in her defense, I watched her in The Beauty Inside and she wasn't that great either - so, she's just bad lol
Well, at least she had chemistry with Lee Jong Suk and everything else about the drama was reeeeally good
