Couldn't stand The King's Avatar because of Yang Yang but I watched the other dramas. The most unrealistic part…
What did Yang Yang do wrong lol And, althought I'm sure people that share similar tastes have some similarities, how can you just say all of them are the same lol
About TKA's keybording: it's actually quite consistent with the novel. In the novel, the game is described as a the-faster-you-click-type-the-better. Ye Xiu have one of the fastest APM of Glory's professional scene, reaching 764 APM in the final game as Happy's leader. Although it may seems inaccurate for other games, I think it was the director's choice to show how Glory works
Thank you for the article, made me want to watch GYH haha
Like (almost) every chinese dramaXD they all have such high notes... interesting. In this one actually nothing…
Lol I dropped Ashes of Love because of the amount of angst, I couldn't stand it. But must of people that watch it also like Eternal Love so go for it :)

Not genres but types. There are the low budget ones, the idol drama, typical modern romcom, low burn/fluffy romcom, telenovela-like, and etc. And all of them have a set audience. You shouldn't watch a fluffy/slow burn romcom expecting a super great plot with a bunch of plot twist or something. Just like you wouldnt expect great cgi nor editing from a low budget drama. Cdramas have many episodes so they don't usually rush with the story and fillers are common. For romance dramas they're either telenovela-like (which I dislike) or slow paced (which I love because they show more of their daily lives). About the cringe cliches lol I also dislike some of them. But a tip I give you is to take a look at MDL tags, they give you a good preview of what a drama's gonna be like. Or you can just laugh at them like I do. If it's a cultural difference - maybe? Kdramas were like this before too. Lakorns are much more like this. Jdramas also have some of these stuffs. Another tip is that you definitely should search for dramas that target a more mature audience if you didnt like Put Your Head On My Shoulder and alikes. China releases hundreds of dramas per year, of many genres and many types. You surely can find something that fit your taste. If I may, I highly recommend Eternal Love/Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and Le Coup de Foudre for anyone. Try them
