1) I was raised watching telenovelas, so many episodes is not a problem to me lol
2) Wuxia (武俠 wǔxiá) – literally means “Martial Heroes”. Fictional stories about regular humans who can achieve supernatural fighting ability through Chinese martial arts training and internal energy cultivation. Themes of chivalry, tragedy, revenge & romance are common.
Xianxia (仙侠 xiānxiá) – literally means “Immortal Heroes”. Fictional stories featuring magic, demons, ghosts, immortals, and a great deal of Chinese folklore/mythology. Protagonists (usually) attempt to cultivate to Immortality, seeking eternal life and the pinnacle of strength. Heavily inspired by Daoism.
Comparison: If Wuxia is “low fantasy”, then Xianxia is “high fantasy”. Xuanhuan (玄幻 xuánhuàn) – literally means “Mysterious Fantasy”. A broad genre of fictional stories which remixes Chinese folklore/mythology with foreign elements & settings.
3 and 4) I also get confused with the whole names and enormous families and all lol One thing I got is that "'er" is usually used for royal people. Like in The Eternal Love, the female lead is called Tan'Er when she becomes a princess Oh, and dramas always release the characters chart (is this the right word? I cant remember lol) For ex https://br.pinterest.com/pin/169518373454706122/
5) Tiles is something even western royal familes had, so you just need to know some of history to understand why titles change and all
8) That's why I carefully search about the drama I want to watch. I specially search to know if it's a happy or sad ending And the over dramatic thing seems like it's related to chinese culture
9) Also related to how much chinese culture is adept of idioms and poetry
10) ITS SO FUNNY lmaooooo There's also the thing that they can tell whatever disease you have just by checking your heartbeat
I had alot of these doubts too but now I'm used and I enjoy cdrama a whole lot. Love it, specially when I want to cry
I actually don't watch this kind of drama anymore because I get so confused and annoyed they don't really explore the "I'm gay" part. Like, what if the guy is really gay?????????
My baby Love O2O I read the novel and I can say that Xiao Nai actually is supposed to be exactly this way, he seems even more unapproachable in the novel. Zheng Shuang as Wei Wei tho... Well, lets say she is as pretty as she was supposed to be, at least. I have no problem with their chemistry tho. I love the both of them together. It's just... Zheng Shuang. And although this quote of Xiao Nai also bothered me, he's actually one of the best "perfect" male leads I've seen. He really take care of Wei Wei, he respect her decisions, he respect her family (and his too, btw, something really important), trust her and is always there for whatever she needs. He's cold but too lovable
Full House Thai (and Kiss Me Thai too, btw) is my guilty pleasure. There's a lot of mess but I love it anyways because of aomike, their chemistry and cuteness is worth it
Did u really look my watchlist lol Dream Knight is an idol drama, not a drama with an idol - it's supposed to be light and childish, you don't expect it to be a masterpiece, just to have fun while fangirl over your idol. Very different from a normal drama
My love for The Eternal Love is all based in their chemistry and that's it. The story isnt that great nor the acting nor the costumes, I just get chills every time Xiao Tan and Lian Cheng are together - and I absolutely LOVE this YES, Yang Mi is THE queen! Love, love, love her! I hope to see another of her wuxia/xianxia drama soon. The also love chinese fantasy dramas cinematography. More specifically, I love how they portrait fight/battle scenes. It's GREAT
About the whole thing, I just think people should stop rating a drama before it ends. I also wish people would stop rating dramas high just because their fav idol is in there (MDL actually have pretty accurate rating but have you seen Viki, for example? I mean, Hwarang is almost 10 there HOW) since rating do have some influence in your choice. I hate to waste time with overhyped dramas
Why do you feel angry or sad when a drama you liked gets a bad rating? Because I think it's worth watch and bad rating make people less likely to watch it
Do you think down-rating is OK? It's not a good thing but also not bad, I can understand why you'd do this
Do you often fight on MDL? Lol no. I usually come here, att my watch list and go away
"After they get married, they will work together as a power couple, managing the new King’s regime as well as harvesting a world of happiness on their own." I like this part very much. Stills, as it's a chinese drama, I will wait for more details and some eps to decide if I watch or no
Judge a 40 (60?) episodes drama for its first 4 episodes is really dumb yall I'm enjoying till now and cant wait to see Lin Dong grow up and everything else

Xuanhuan and Xianxia novels may sometimes seem similar on the surface. Look for the presence of Daoist elements (the Dao, Yin and Yang, Immortals, etc…) in the novel to easily distinguish the two – if they aren’t present, then it’s probably a Xuanhuan novel. 6) Thats because the public usually are already used to the characteristics of each being. Read this https://immortalmountain.wordpress.com/glossary/wuxia-xianxia-xuanhuan-terms/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://immortalmountain.wordpress.com/glossary/wuxia-xianxia-xuanhuan-terms/

I hope the whole in-game graphics/special effects be as great as the one they showed in the trailer
