firework issue was after it aired - it started as criticism for the story and soon became a hate campaign against the leads. their acting was criticized, people treated them as if they were the characters themselves, they dig up their entire lives, hated on their looks, etc. it was pretty ugly and heartbreaking.
that drama was also produced by yy and wcr company, so you would expect they would protect these two - however, yy's company marketing director was caught liking hate towards yy 🫩
yeah, the entire fandom if praying he left that company.

as for this drama, we can only pray it ends up well for all the innocent actors. may they at least leave it unscatered

alas, there is this misunderstanding that actors have some power over big production companies 😔 think about it, for these companies and directors to reach high in this industry, they need mad backing. the main director for this drama, as an ex, just won a magnolia award. yy, however, even had people in his company supporting the hate he got during fireworks of my heart.
going against them publicly could also backfire, especially now that he is trying to get back the gp trust and to leave idol dramas behind for once. so he is just quietly filming, getting it done.

nope, this was an ad for the game a chinese ghost story - 10 years anniversary of his first collab with the game and love o2o 10th anniversary too. this ad isnt out btw, it will probably come out when the drama anniversary comes.

as fans found out the issues with the production, script and all, the drama team requested yy to start filming earlier than previously requested by him to calm down investidors and fans, which would interfere with his recovery. he spent some days filming still using the bandage, and his hand was still swollen days after taking it out. he was seen taking meds until few days ago too. since its also a drama that requires him to do stunts, fans were very worried and called out the drama team.
