Also how they give us characters that aren't just one thing. I love how we get little glimpses into the mind of many characters, even the villains. Seeing characters as complex as humans are is always an enjoyment, even when they get on my nerves

I do think her beating him is wrong, but you're finding lame excuses for him. Qin Shi told their dad he's a cheater and he didn't deny, he actually seemed to assume it. Even if it was a misunderstanding, drinking and partying with a bunch of girls is pretty disrespectful, specially knowing his wife would feel hurt and insecure. It also seems this situation have been going on for a long time. They do like each other, but it's a toxic relationship
