Love this drama! Great storytelling and reminded me of the days when I used to drink like 4 to 5x a week after work with my 2 girlfriends. We really lived for drinks! It was like I was drinking full-time and working part-time. LOL. Unfortunately, our friendship wasn't that deep.

Funnily, I quite enjoy this even though it's bitter-sweet and knowing the ending is possibly tragic. I don't mind tragic ending as long as it's not horrific. I dropped The One and Only cos I cannot stand the idea that he was tortured before he died. Goodbye My Princess was one I enjoyed thoroughly even though it was tragic ending. Better than Princess Agent with no ending.

I find her okay. She has a youthful look anyway so it wasn't too much for me. I try not to think of her as a teenager...but maybe it helps cos the people around her weren't young also.

The actor playing Zhuo Yin is really good portraying his duo roles. Did anyone see how he used his facial muscle as the twin brother? Wow.

It's a bitter sweet story. If you like romantic fluff and candy, then forget this because you ain't getting any. But otherwise, this is good in terms of story, cast, and cinematography. The story has a fair amount of angst. Usually I don't like such stories but surprising love this. Maybe cos of the cast.

IDK...that's why I had to ask cos this is one scene I totally don't understand. You could be right too. The neighbour could have been asked to put something in her food. Anyway, moving along...haha....

Actually I don't use a lot of logic when I watch shows. Haha...my threshold for nonsense is quite high as long as I can assume or guess.

The horse scene...I liked it. Right place, right time! Haha.

So this was the first thing I thought but it's not confirmed and also, I don't understand why she had to veil her eyes if she was poisoned. So I think what PeachBlossomGoddess mentioned made more sense here.

Haha...yes, that was the only thing I could think of...to remind us of Bai Qian. Somehow it didn't make sense.

In the episode where FHS went home to see her mom with her Sifu, why did she feel giddy and had to veil her eyes when confronting the assassins?

Good drama. Excellent cast. Ratings should be higher.

I feel the same. I like her but stopped watching her after DOTS. She was quite gutsy in that drama but I don't particularly enjoy when she plays in melo.

Haha...same here. I stopped after seeing them married and am not prepared for heartaches and angst going forth.

Agree! The story is so interesting. When I watched the episode where it's revealed that FZ is the baixi for the emperor, it was a twist that left me in shock and wanting to know more. The casting is great too...the acting is either very nuanced or in good contrast. So good!
