what the f*** they did? She just transitioned into modern clothes and modern society all at once! Why are they…
well no she spent the whole episode 1 and 1/2 of episode 2 in clothing from Joseon era, swapped into an modern actress body who was playing a part. It all made sense.
the only thing i would say is they could have spent more time on her being confused with modern technology and way of living and modern people showing her the ways but none of that took away from how GOOD episode 1 and 2 were.
Why does the lips of actors not really match what’s being said via audio by the actor? It’s like this slightest second of delay but I can’t really get thru 1st episode because of it & the voice tones don’t seem to match the actors idk…
---i'm on episode 20 and i still like the drama so far, it's not things super exciting but i'm into more mature/steady dramas and romances so it's my cup of tea. ---the romance not being on fire is fine with me since i like the hotel / career climb of MI-YU to be interesting enough. ---i would like to see MI-YU's character develop even more tho ---in reality i'm not sure too many women would willingly continue to work under the mistress of their ex-husband especially as fresh as the scar is in this drama. ---i'd give it a 7 based on me being as far as episode 20
honestly i thought this was pretty good, there was chemistry between both couples and i wasn't bored since there was 2 different couple storylines to engage with, so fun watch, & none of the main leads acting fell short for me so pretty good👍🙂 And 24 episodes was definitely doable.
SOOO has this amazing drama won any awards or got any nominations because it was a 10 out of 10 in suspense and mystery and the acting....chef's kiss from our leading ladies
Honestly very boring and very depressing. Every Eps felt super long. I watched for 6-8 Eps. I can't remember exactly before I started hitting 1.5X the. speed. Eps begin to feel like they would never end... would rate it a 6.5, bc there were a few scenes I felt were acted out phenomenally. I think it was also the switch to them being older adults and their kids entering the show that didn’t grab my attention that much. I typically love realistic, melodramatic , sorrowful romantic love stories but this overall it felt to all over the place and overall I just didn't connect with it unfortunately, no point in forcing myself to finish it.
