In this case Ha-neul does look more desperate than Ji-Min. He actually won over Je-Yeon bc JY actually gave him a chance and saw him as a potential partner. Ji-Min has made it clear to Ha-Neul that he doesn’t see her as a lover but only as a friend or good person.
There’s no true reward when you have to convince someone to love you. Even if they eventually accept. That’s just no way to start a relationship at all. Between Ji-Min and Je-Yeon the feelings have grown to be MUTUAL.
And I love Ha-Neul fun easy going personality but with love it’s cringy to watch at times.
