I don't think it will be confusing to watch. The story is fairly straightforward. None of the men nor women look too alike as often seen in idol dramas. They will show the year at the beginning of each scene when they jump between times. I've re-watched it many times so I've started to notice little things. it is a pretty sweet show. Watch and enjoy. There is another scene where the 2021 ML wonders what kind of love would make a woman be willing to die for the 2022 ML. What happens is someone dies and to save her, there must be a balance in deaths. The 2022 ML thinks that he can get around that but it comes back and bites him. He is killed. But The memories of the dead 2022 ML merges with the 2021 ML. It takes a short while for the 2021 ML become like the 2022 ML and for the FL to accept him. But at the end she does.
