And yet this is the only ongoing cdrama that I'm following. The drip drip tension and the will he or won't he is still interesting. If Prince Yu finds out who Mingshu really is, he may decide to eliminate her or use the threat of exposure and the danger to her, he and his Mother to get him to do his bidding. If I were to magically see the last episode, would I keep watching? Probably. Re-watch. value. mebbe low.

If Mingshu is found not to be the sister, the three face deceiving the Emperor. If the deception is found after she gets close to Master Song, he may be sucked in, too. Prince Yu may be on a roll for a while.

There are a few other Easter eggs that I wish were made. Zhuo Lan Jiang, his role in In Blossom.
And one death that greatly disturbed me because it was so unfair, The Love Lasts Two Minds (2020), Xiao Lu, the FL's maid. She was tortured to death to get her to turn on the FL.

It started off really well. The scheming FL, the cat and mouse game between her and the ML as she seeks to recover 'bixi' and also kill the ML and he tries to pierce her schemes but also recover some lost memories. The writers should have kept her like that, playing a covert double game rather than have her assume an overly cheerful person.

Alas, I'm team original. But that won't happen. Perhaps a merge of both conscious could happen.

But which Yungap? The original or the possessed one?

Wonder if that was a problem in Chinese as well as in English. Name recognition with the audience was probably more important than accuracy. Same thing with saving the young child. Doing CPR when the heimlich maneuver was named and called for.

Not to mention the maids. They deserved better.

Good points. I look at his constant interruptions as part of the triangle storyline. Overused and low hanging fruit. I would think that it seems that Prince Yu will be the ultimate villain. Master Song is aligned with Prince Rui so that sooner or later he will become a target. Were Mingshu and Song get to close, she may be seen as a useful weak point Lu Chang and his family may become at risk due to being close to her, and or being the wife and son of Master Lu, and or by hiding Mingshu's identity, thus being liable for deceit. Also her relationship with Sujun, Prince Rui's wife could be a point of attack. Separately being linked with Master Lu, a supporter of Prince Rui would make Lu Chang's Mother as well as Lu Chang vulnerable to attack.
On a different track, I suspect that although Tangli and Mingshu will enter a period of being antagonist, Tangli's long game will be to exact revenge on Prince Yu from the inside. So they will really be working towards the same goal. just thinking. Thank you.

The ML is playing pretty much right. Try not to be overly jealous of the budding relationship between the 2ML and the FL. Other dramas have the ML be much more intrusive.

I think that the guy intended it but not her. I think that Tangli's real end game in the Academy has yet to be revealed. Who was the female that delivered the clothes to Prince Yu that warranted a stare from him?
