The more I re-watch it, the better it gets. Some loose threads in the last rebirth. Is the Musician Lady reborn as the waitress who was bothered by the customer in ep. 19? Zhuo's sister Xueji now has a tea house. Is it the Flower Pavilion which Lady Wen just acquired or is her tea house part of the Flower Pavilion? We don't see Zhuo last two episodes, is it because he killed the FL in ep. 6? The last three episodes are very sweet.

Some giggle moments (The fly and later the trash bags) and some moving moments. (Mr Shu sees the old restaurant and Feng Meng as a child) Getting better and better as the couples get together.

ep. 10 The penny drops for the ML when he tasted the cold noodles with the popsicle added. He saw the old kitchen and then Feng Meng as a child. He is going to know who the man is on the other side of the wall. Some sweet tears watching it and more to come as the Father and Meng get to say goodbye.

When I watched the end, I caught the hint of a smile on her face, eyes and mouth slightly widening before the fadeout. She knows and is happy. I had wondered what the director and writers had intended. The Su Family survived because the now King of Dongque, Baili Jingxing killed the King of Nanyuan and avenged her Father's death. Had Su Nanyan tried to kill her King, then her Family would have been wiped out. I suspect that Su Nanyan sat out the brief war and may have gone into hiding. Without the Su General and his aides, the Nanyuan army probably couldn't put up much resistance. When Baili left the grave site, Su Nanyan grabbed his arm and you could see the red thread with green beads. The woman at the end also had the red thread with beads, so she was Su Nanyan and probably also Zhao Qingqing. I guess it is intended that both inhabit the same body. So it is a happy ending.

Gia Ge's Wen Wan is smart, very smart with very good martial art skills. Dong Zhi Fan's Xiao Chen is a green forest. I'm re-watching it now, but there are a few episodes 3/4 ways in that I didn't watch yet. Don't think that she becomes dumb, but missed some signs near the end. I like Judy Qi but her Ms Ke spent a lot of the episodes teasing mind games with the ML.You can understand why, but it's not the greatest writing. I liked her in Love is Written in the Stars. Li Ge Yang's Shen Nan isn't the bad boy like In Blossom but here, once he gives his heart to someone, he won''t give up. But persistent but not toxic, imho. Peek at ep. 21 and see if you like both characters. Thank you and take care.

Have you seen this drama? Revenge of Reborn Princess (2024) MDL Feng Hua Jian (2024) at dramacool. It's pretty good. Not as good as Fate's Crossing Nan & Ke (2024) but the ending is written better in the former. Soonsetra at MDLposted a link to an eng subbed version at bilibili soonsetra did the subs. Her older sister didn't want to marry him, but he asked about her younger sister and found out that she was being forced to marry a scumbag. So he said that he will marry her instead. (to get her out of that) He apparently liked her from before. I suspect that he was being forced to marry the older sister. He may have made her dislike him to have a chance with Hui Ju.

Try kisskh. It has eng subs. Dramacool has it as Love and Peace (2024) but it is upcoming.

If it is after watching ep. 4, perhaps it is from the beginning where Mu Yao believes that Mu Sheng stole the map and draws the line between her and him with the comments about the her and the Resentful Woman, that he cannot feel the same as the dead parents were not his and that the way he acts is no different from a demon. And that she forgot her promise to go to the lantern festival with him. I'm sure that he later realized that the drama sets up lots of misdirects to build tension.

For no reason at all save hope, I like to think that the couple walking towards Miaomiao at 37:07 are Yao and Fuyi in the real world.

I see Chen Shi not as stupid but uncomplicated. He may not see all but what he does see might be important and may be what others might not. A favorite among a fine group here. Chen Shi is like Hong Ji's handyman to Dragon Demon girl Bai Xi in Little Dragon Maiden.
