I also came back for a re-watch and wondered why it wasn't as traumatic as the first time and thought I didn't remember it well, then I saw your post and realized that they'd done some re-editing. But still even with the cleanup, it's heartbreaking. I totally agree with you re Pin and the dad. Our boys nearly lost their lives and had to go through so much grief and anguish and the writers have the audacity to put them all in a perfect picture frame at the end as one happy family! F*** NO!
