I think FX by the time we get to that last scene in the car where YSL bends over to take FX's cigarettes, FX is already completely smitten and done for! and under YSL's power. and the way YSL walks away, you can tell that he knows it too lol
Also I feel that YSL does wear a mask but seems to be able to drop it with FX and show that other side of him that he never shows anyone else. I think at this point they're both smitten with each other.
Like the scene at the beginning of ep 2, after the get together where FX give YSL his pack of cigarettes by touching his thigh and the next scene shows YSL finishing having sex with his boyfriend and he says what's going on, you never get this worked up with me, then YSL goes out to smoke FX's cigarettes and thinks about FX. I think YSL is already attracted to FX.
