when juhee said "won't you feel despair when you reveal the truth but the whole world does nothing about it", i feel like it was referring to a lot more than just the case. like yes, the charges against choi do ha were dropped but he wasn't the only one who got away without facing any consequences. dr. han killed his wife in cold blood but no one found about it because choi do ha had a hand in it, the rich psychopath son whose "punishment" was banishment from the family and not jail time, and the innocent guy who went to jail in his place and never got to clear his name.
i feel like all of these imperfections make this drama more realistic, every evil done does not result in punishment, the rich can get away with so many things.
that's why i think choi do ha dying like that is poetic, it would've been infuriating if he went to jail because he would've just lived a lavish life by bribing the warden. it felt great.
also i wasn't expecting his wife to just die like that but ig that means that park chungho will remain the big mouse which is something i like.
good, not great but a lot of major events happen in the last 10-20 mins so you can't process all of it at once but it's not as bad as the comment section makes it out to be
watched ep1 and it just completely took me interest away cause why did they go ahead with the pregnancy, even the adults let them have twins when neither of them are capable of having a good job and that's a direct hindrance in their education? it's really unrealistic and highly immature.
That was so she could report her kidnappers and they would be imprisoned but she does not have a valid identification…
the huge amount of money was what she got from the loan shark in exchange of her kidney, and she didn't use that money or the profit from BD to pay it off because 15 billion won was an investment and she probably didn't have that much money, and even if she did, why would she pay off her the only investment she got in her business..
the thing im mosr curiously about is how much did kopiko paid to be featured almost every ep?? like i love kopiko too but damn, not as much as the siren's kiss director
