But Jang Gun Yeong (Jung Woo Sung's character) was arrested at the end of season 1. We saw the arrest was public, he obviously had spent some time in prison and I am pretty sure he lost his job of a prosecutor. The thing of season 2 is we don't know who Jang Gung Yeong is now, what organization/powerful benefactor he works for and what his exact job is. I doubt it's prosecution.

This poster is so generic. The previous one, with Hyun Bin sitting in an armchair and smoking, was/is awesome.

Now I have a feeling the drama is having some comedy sprinkled here and there. Not your usual Korean slapstick exaggerated comedy, borderline farcical, but more nuanced things, probably dark ones in this case. I had a crazy idea Sul Kyung Gu would be responsible for some deadpan comic relief a few days ago, and the trailer kinda confirmed it. At least I got that impression.

Filming of Family Matters Season 2 ended on August 6. They have been shooting for a little bit over 5 months. Bae Doo Nah is expecting this to be released around this winter (so I guess at the end of the year late November and/or December like season 1).

I think Sul Kyung Gu may or may not be responsible for some deadpan comedy here and there.

There are so many loose ends. What's about the money/ransom? Why did No Man Hui kidnap and murder all those women? What's his deal? I can say it's not connected to the main case, What was his wife's role in those crimes? Or had he commited them before they met? Why did he save his future wife then, if he just killed other women for shit and giggles? How did he manage to be so omniscient and omnipotent with all those cameras everywhere at the beginning? What did happen to the nurse and her grandmother? What was that about "baby in the car" on the SL couple's car? And so on. Writing was very sloppy..

For me it's Lizard.

He wanted to get some recognition and a bigger role in the clinic for the project he helped to start (yes, by questionable or even illegal means), but he was told the project is on pause until the the chairman deals with his son-in-law. Dr. Choi has always felt he is secondary/inferior to Dr. Kang.

Getting the FL was the least meaningful motive for Dr. Choi, if any. We have seen he has always been jealous toward the ML. I mean the motives for the crime are very common, even cliched: greed, vanity, jealosy, ambitions.

It's a funny joke, I keked a bit. But no, not even with him.

He had some chemistry with Seo Ji Hye, the S(?)FL though.

So Ryu Seung Beom left Family Matters for this?

I had some doubts about Park Byun Eun earlier. I saw him in several things (Eve, Hyper Knife, Dear Hongrang and a few others), and he was mostly unremarkable and underwhelming at best, Wishy-washy, you may say.

But I am watchin The Apartment Job and he has been pretty great and entertaining as a main antagonist so far. Now I have some hopes for his character here. Of course, he won't replace Ryu Seong Beom who was the heart and emotional core of season 1. But there is a chance he is going to bring something good.

For me it's Moon So Ri here. Ji Sung is the main star, no questions about it, but she is the real heart and emotional center of the drama.

Not so much in Adamas though.

It's not about "deserves," it's about "does this story need more episodes." One of the main advantages of this drama (or techhically a comedy) is the pace. There is no unnecessary subplots, no dragged scenes, the storyline is tight. We have finished 8 episodes, and the ML has managed to think about being the president of the residents'assosiation, get elected, fail in his plan to steal the money, find the main baddie, try to cooperate with that baddie and finally get into direct confrontation (according preview for episode 9 the police is already going to get the ML). And we have 4 episodes more. Extra episodes would just drag the show.

(Sighs). Another "Mom, I can fix him (he is also rich and handsome)."

It was a pretty great and darkly funny meetcute. I would watch a similar dark romcom.

The mouse on the poster is cute.

It's not a kind of dramas with "a classic lady" as the FL. I watched the orginal American series, "The Americans." This drama needs to have a femme fatale, a dangerous and treacherous seductress as the FL, who is also loyal to her country and bear an enourmous phyisical and mental stress of her task. Keri Russell was perfect as the FL in "The Americans."

But that's not the real problem. maybe she can pull it out. My main issue about Han Ji Min is her ability to make an action scene, and the drama will have to have quite a few such scenes. Yes, she did make two or three physically demanding projects. But it was about a decade ago, in 2010s. I have similar doubts about Lee Byung Hun too. Like, 10 years ago? Probably, yes. Now? I just don't know.

The Scarecrow has just got most of nominations (six ones) at Blue Dragon Series Award.

I am a bit disappointed Lee Hee Jun hasn't got a nod though. I do think his performance was better than Jung Moon Sung's one. The latter was solid though, he has a few really good scenes. But the former was just pefect to hate him.
