I have been dropping kdramas left and right lately. So you can probably guess that my expectations for a webdrama were not particularly high.
Maybe this is also the reason why I was astonished to see how good this drama actually is.
The couple where cute. Not only between the individual couples but also within the friendship we got a short storyline and got to see its development.
The problems felt real, the relationships realistic.
I really appreciate that every character had a personality. The writer did great not making them onedementional.

Like how does this even makes sense? They created a drama where you hate everyone and everything but still I keep going back to it?!

they do not have a fixed schedule. Ep 3 is already posted. I would say they do try to translate a day or two before a new episode aires.

I am currently watching 18 again where he plays a not so significant role but I still noticed him.

They really did cast right for this drama. How was that even possible to find real live people who look so similar to the webtoon?!

It actually has the potential to be a pretty good drama but for my personal liking it's way too much over the top makjang. For a makjang it is too much makjang haha.

and only because they mentioned it in Show Me The Money 9.
Because of all the YG scandals I guess they couldn't promote this.
Too bad I found out about it just now and not earlier.

Honestly, I loved this drama. It's a pity to see so many hating on it.

I think though that jTBC made a huge mistake advertising it as their version of Sky Castle.

Because it is not! Nothing about this drama is like Sky Castle. Some Characters happen to have money but you can hardly say they are part of the high society.
Also the murder mystery is not even really about the murder but rather the focus is on the friendship and who would or wouldn't cover for the murder if one of their friends did it and that's the mystery that the viewer has to figure out. Like I sad it is not really about the murder aspect that people were hoping for.

So in my opinion this is a great Slice of life type of drama with the focus on friendship as adults, past love, marriage and so on. It used to be tagged as thriller and some early trailers did lead us on to think so and even some short moments might feel like it might turn into a thriller but it doesn't! This is slice of life more than anything - and if you take it for what it is in my opinion it is great!

At what episode would you say does it really takes off?

Because I have watched 7 episodes shortly after they aired and it was just ok so I dropped it.
But seeing that it has so many positive reviews I think I might have dropped it too early.

Is it turning into a noona romance?
I just started watching ep 6. And this is kind of a real plot twist.
But at the same time the casting now really makes sense ....aaaah how did I not see this coming?

I know! For some reason some sites were really slow updating this episode.
The site where I usually watch still does not have the subs for it.

I know this drama is not for me. But also I already know this will blow up and sooo many will love this one. So people will talk about this a lot and whenever they do I will feel left out and question whether I should have watched it.
BUT I really do know that I won't enjoy it. Every single episode will feel like a chore - it will be like I felt with 'A Korean Odyssey' all over again.
Does anyone feel the same way?
