Title Lovely Runner Spoiler
kinda banger but why a 30 year old with a highschooler. (a minorrrrrrrr)
Well, if you put it that way.
She traveled back in time. So she had the mind of 30 years old in a 15 or 16 years old's body. So technically she was same age or younger than him at the time. Also, they didn't do anything inappropriate. They only kissed once she travelled back to college timeline.

This is one of the many reasons why I don't want my fictional ships to date in real life. Yeah, they might date,…
Exactly, now think of it why do they always have the same reason "due to busy schedules", either Hollywood or K-dramaland or C-dramaland? , LOL

Why compare apple to strawberry? Both are completely different.
Yep, or apple to orange. They taste different but at the end of the day, they're all fruit 😁

Id rather never know about their personal lives. Because women are usually attacked more if they break up and…
Agree. I used to love DOTS and kept re-watching it until I read too much into the real life breakup and saw how much flakes SHK received.

It's understandable that spot light shines more on BWS since vast audience of Rom Coms are female, swooning over hot, hopeless romantic ML.
Just my personal opinion, I think KHY did more heavy lifting that contributed to the drama's success.
I'm sure BWS will have a lot projects line up for him. Just hope the same will be for KHY.
Love them both and can't wait to see them again onscreen.
Now back to re-watch for ... n times.

Nah, dating irl is a no no. Onscreen relationship is a fantasy. They stayed in characters for months, delivering more than real chemistry that overwhelmingly makes us audience wonder were they really acting or actually in love with each other.
However, once the camera turned off so was the end of the fantasy love story. 99% onscreen couples who become couples irl breakup sooner or later, Song Song couple for example and countless couples in Hollywood

All in all, I feel a bit disappointed. The famous cast, spectacular visual effects can't save a show if script/director are not up to par. They didn't even care to incorporate some fighting choreography.
First impression is important to these long dramas for viewers. That's why we always have 4-6 eps at first go I guess. For me, as much as I love the cast, the first impression fell short for me.
It does get better but, to some viewers, the damage has been done.

My, oh, my, the last ep was sweetness overloaded. So much so that I have diabetes on the spot LOL.
Figurative speaking, it's like the writers/directors have prepared a delicious meal for us then topped off with a delicious cake.

The lottery winning number she gave her brother, he has been playing for years but only won once he accidentally, drunkenly shared with 50 people.
And i say genius writer. The scene was hilarious, yet touching.

Till now, it's been round and round. He ended up getting hurt every time one way or another. He's still drawn to her regardless how much she has tried to push him away.
Can we defy or alter fate in fantasy world of time travel?
There may be happy ending, but there has to be a consequence, like he'll live but she's back in wheelchair for example.

Title The Rise of Ning Spoiler
Yes, sure is. In the novel she reincarnated. SML was her husband in previous life.
They were supposed to be half siblings, same dad, different moms, until it was revealed that the dad was not her dad.
He was fond of her the day she was born, the original Yi Ning. But she followed her family mistreating him so he resented her. When she was 7, she fell into the water and he hesitated to save her. but he did eventually. The real Yi Ning actually die then. And FL reincarnated to her body, 7 years old body but had the mind of like 20 when she die originally.
She reincarnated back and forth past/present/future so she knew what happened between him and the original Yi Ning and how the family mistreated him and decided to fix that. Became nicer, closer to him. He became closer to her, protected her, and eventually fell in love with her even before knowing they weren't related by blood.
He was a caring, protective brother. but when it comes to love, he, like other men around her, took her for granted.
You have to read the novel to fully know what I meant by bunch of a**holes. Google translate was not good but did give the whole picture.

Title The Rise of Ning Spoiler
Yes, sure is. In the novel she reincarnated. SML was her husband in previous life.
He was a son of a concubine, and hence mistreated and neglected during childhood. But as the synopsis said, he was smart. FL reincarnated to the future and saw he had become a powerful, high ranking official. so in this life, she encourage him to study and take the test. After few years, he passed and become a high ranking official. The table turned, his family now were scared of him. He was upright but ruthless, didn't hesitate to kill, didn't hesitate to punish even if his family. He became more powerful and power struggle with SML both in politics and relationship with FL.
The novel is female centric, more of FL's journey of reincarnations and narrated by FL's perspective. I think the drama has changed it to male centric, so we will probably see more of ML's character.

Title The Rise of Ning Spoiler
Yes, sure is. In the novel she reincarnated. SML was her husband in previous life.
She didn't love him, just content with the life she had with him. He loved her, kind of obsessive love. Then she was murdered. She thought it was her husband killing her and resented him. She went through cycles of reincarnation, finally landed on ML's family as a 7 years old girl, but still had the mind of 20 years old when she died.
I heard the drama has changed a lot from the novel due to censorship.
Anyway, in the novel, all the men, including ML were bunch of a*holes who took her for granted.

I hope ep13 was the last of time traveling. They should try to figure things out in this present timeline.
It's getting old and boring, round and round and round.
No one can defy or control fate. Every time she tried to change the past, a new future starts. And that future is unpredictable and most likely the outcome is not what she wants and that the first fateful event continues to happen, but in different way.
The cycle needs to be broken somehow. And that they have 3 more eps to figure out. I'm so tempted to downgrade my rating, tbh.

Dramas like this may not be as appealing as rom com or costume dramas. But they require serious acting and prove artists of their acting skills. It's a great opportunity and I'm glad Dylan chose it. He has become a serious actor, not just an idol.

One dumb thing about this drama, all those idiots watching the solar eclipse with naked eyes, seriously? 😒

One thing about this drama that is touching is how it depicts disability. After initial stage of denial, despair, she became a positive person. Of course we know who helped her and such.
Despite her disability, she lives a normal life. Enjoy things that all young girls love to do, hang out with friends, going to concerts, fan girl over an idol.
Above all, maintain a positive attitude. Couldn't get a job, no biggie, there's always another one. Lost concert ticket, ok, I'm still enjoying it outside on big screen TV.
And people around her, from the interviewer to concert goers, no one gave her a pity look or treated her differently.
So, the more I keep re-watching this drama, aside from the cast, the more I appreciate writers, directors who make it so special.
